Finally received the correct one. Works great
I have no idea why I purchased this through Amazon. I should have went direct, because I received a used chainring, that was the wrong part. Someone switched bags / barcodes. Anyways -- finally receiving the correct chainring, I love it. I choose Wolf Tooth because these are a locally-made product, here in MN. My bike came with a RaceFace, but I knew WT was the best. Very simple, accurate, machined, quality, etc.

Best chainring I've used
In my opinion, this is a flawless chainring. I have it on a 26" dirt jumper, I've used it for vigorously for a couple months now, and haven't had a single dropped chain. It seems to be extremely durable, and is holding up great with no problems. The structural integrity of the ring is consistent and solid throughout, but still retains a relatively low weight in comparison to other brands of chainrings. In response to one of the questions- you do NOT have to purchase specific 10mm Wolf Tooth chainring bolts in order to mount the 30T chainring. You can use your stock bolts, even if they are only 6 or 7mm bolts. You only need to buy the 10mm Wolf Tooth bolts if you plan on installing a bash guard as well. I figured this out myself, and also spoke to a Wolf Tooth employee.Another side note, if you use a half-link to achieve perfect chain tension on a single speed bike or other bike in which you must adjust chain tension by moving the back wheel in the adjustable dropouts, you cannot use this chainwheel. This is because the skinny-wide teeth must fit on specific chain links, and a half-link offsets the chain each time it enters the chainwheel. This is the same reason the skinny-wide wheel is not offered in an odd number of teeth, only even numbers. If you can't get a perfect fit without the half link by adding or subtracting a full link, you can fix the issue by purchasing a singlespeed chain tensioner. But, I would recommend simply buying a regular chainwheel if this is the case, because the skinny wide doesn't offer that much of an advantage over a normal chainring on a singlespeed anyway.

Awesome Upgrade
No more chain drops. I converted my dad's bike from a 3x8 to a 1x9. The drivetrain set is 30T on the chain and 11-50T with a long cage Shimano SLX with an extended goat link. It has been working flawlessly and going from my initial 36T chainring down to a 30T, and it has made a notable difference on flats and uphills.

1x10 conversion is as easy as 123,4,5 well it's not that hard.
I bought a Wolf Tooth 32T chainring to convert a Sram/Truvativ 2x10 36T/22T to a simple 1x10 with better gear ratios. Installation required bolting my Sram/Truvativ 36T chainring to the new Wolf Tooth 32T chainring and smoothing out the tabs with a dremmel tool to get the new chainring to seat on the crankset. Once the tabs were shaved down a touch the chainring seated on the crankset and secured with hardware, prior to dremmel use this was not possible hence four stars. This will in no way stop me from buying a 34T and eventually another 36Tchainring from Wolf Tooth in the future.12/22/2015I've put about 500 miles or so on my 32t so far and my chain hasn't so much as even slipped, it's stuck on there. I feel like I am strong enough to go to a 34t and just recieved my order today so I'll update again when I get to a 36t.UPDATE: I took the bike out and pushed pretty hard after having to sit out rides because of the weather for the last week. The chain will not come off. I went down some decent hills and over plenty of roots even a couple of jumps that I landed pretty hard and I just kept pedaling along without any kind of chain guide or front derailleur. I did add along with the Wolf Tooth chain ring a Sram type 2 rear derailleur with clutch which adds to the stability.

Best narrow/wide ring I've seen so far.
My wife has the RaceFace Next SL Cinch cranks, which came with their spiderless narrow/wide chainring. The cranks are great, but she had the chain come off a couple times, which was strange. I got the Cinch 4x104 spider and this chainring, and she's been fine ever since. One tidbit of information that I discovered while trying to figure out why the RaceFace chainring wasn't working - Shimano Shadow Plus derailleurs may occasionally need their clutch cleaned and re-lubed with their special Nexus grease. This is especially true on bikes which are cleaned often - as hers was. If your Shadow Plus derailleur cage doesn't swing forward and backward smoothly (it should have resistance, that's the point) you may be due for that service. From the Shimano tech:"The inside of the clutch friction band needs to be lubricated with Nexus grease periodically. It’s a regular maintenance interval thing. It’s generally a pretty long interval but depends greatly on conditions. Washing the bike a lot can shorten up that service interval pretty significantly – that’s what we see with pro racers."

Great for 1x setup
I used this ring to create a 1x setup using a square taper bottom bracket. I'm using a torque-sensing BB for an electric build, and they only come in square taper, so I had to buy a reasonably lightweight crankset with the correct BCD and replace the chainrings with this one. It's a GREAT looking setup. Really like this chainring.
