The strand of lights arrived, neatly bundled, with a twist tie. None of the snowflakes was tangled. I recommend inserting 3 AA batteries first, to test if they work and if you like the look. Then unwind the cord, loosely placing it on the tree as you go. This will keep them from tangling, and it will give you an idea of how to distribute and arrange the snowflakes. The amount of lights and wire length is perfect for my tabletop tree, which is 30 inches high and has a bottom-branch diameter of 24 inches. The wire is transparent, but it reflects light and stands out. A green wire would be better for a green tree. Ornaments and garlands will probably hide them. One of the three warm mini-light strands I’ve used each year wasn’t working, and I could’t find a replacement at stores. These snowflakes are a cool-white, which match a wreath in the adjacent kitchen. So I figured I could add them to the tree's warm lights, since snowflakes are white. Some of the warm lights twinkle, which is very nice. The snowflakes flash like an emergency beacon(!), so I don’t use that setting. I haven’t finished decorating the tree, but I want to put this review up before Christmas. The lights arrived on time, as promised. They look pretty!

These lights are very beautiful. The length is perfect and I like that you can make them blink. I haven’t had them for too long so I’m not sure how long they last, but I imagine it depends on the batteries you use. The case for the batteries is very hard to get open.

Lights are festive and bright! I put them around big window and they look great. Only 4 stars because I wish they had a timer setting. Only have ON, FLASHING or OFF settings.

I ordered these to decorate my kids' bedrooms for Christmas. The colors are vibrant, and these were super easy to install with some command clips. Each set takes three AA batteries to work, and you can choose different settings like solid, blinking, etc. These are so much fun and the kids love them. Great for kids' rooms of all ages. I have them in all three of my kids' rooms (ages 9, 5, and 3). They add the perfect amount of festive light and decoration to even small bedrooms.

Bought these for my grand-daughter to decorate her bedroom for Christmas. She likes them so much she plans on keeping them up year round.

Up for a week, chewed through the 3 AA batteries. Put new batteries in, and the lights died out the next day. Garbage. Also, the battery compartment is AWFUL. Have to pry it open it's like it's glued shut, the plastic cracks, it's ridiculous. Waste of $$.

Lights and strand are well made. Snowflakes tangle and snag on each other, the wire, and anything else they can. It can be frustrating to try to wrap around things. The strand takes 3 AA batteries that do NOT last very long at all. A few hours and they start to dim. The colors are nice, and again it is well made. But it will cost you a fortune to run regularly.
