BANGIN' HOT!!! 16.23K + 16.33K ALL DAY LONG STEADY!!!
bought 2x black bridge pickups and it really hot rodded my frankenstein japanese les paul real nice!!! they were pretty close to each other on output. i got one reading at 16.23K [neck] and one @ 16.33K [bridge]. with the '58 les paul wiring i am using these pickups BLAZE through my little marshall MG15-CDR practice amp. VERY well made pickup that is NICE and quiet [no hum] and sound KILLER dont waste your money on big name stuff. these babies SCREAM!!! i got them for $9.99 on sale each so i am VERY stoked!!! [remember of you DO use a bridge as a neck pickup you WILL need to extend the grren hot wire and the black ground to more than likely reach your potentiometers.

Shocking good
Just want to start out by saying that I'm not a bot. I watched a bunch of videos on these pickups and they actually have really good reviews so I had an old guitar that I decided to buy these for. I only used the bridge pickup and I'm into metal. I'm not a very good guitar player but these pickups for the price in the bridge position sounds really good. If you like hot pickups with lots of distortion you can't beat the for the price. The luthier who put these in for me actually said they sounded really good as well and he was shocked

$13???????
the more i play this thing the more i love it. I bought it on a whim but sounds freaking awesome and one of my very favorite pickups from 5 electric guitars i have laying around. This one looks a little funny with the black circles / no metal showing, but for $13 i wasn't too worried about cosmetics. it was an immediate obvious improvement over the other cheap humbucker i had in an old Strat that was being resurrected . works high gain, low gain, sounds pretty neutral considering the bridge position is going to sound very trebly already, if i had to describe the tone i'd say it's dark but clear, if that makes sense. you get great clarity on the high end and tight, focused low end. being ceramic, it is high output but to me this is more of a vintage-type tone than a real nu-metal screamer, and it works even better as a coil split. The single coil mode is very convincing as a regular strat bridge pickup, which I use more then th humbucking mode even. , i bought another FLEOR alnico 5 and coil split that on a different gutiar, and it really did the trick. different types of tones but great quality in both. this is quickly becoming my go-to pickup replacement brand, and with prime's free shipping i'm starting to not even look elsewhere. for a $13 upgrade now sounds as good as it plays. as someone who loves tinkering with guitars and is always chasing "better" tone, i have had no desire to swap this pickup!

Great value
I was pleasantly surprised at how good these pickups sound. They sound pretty much justt as good as the seymour duncans I've used. No noise and easy to install.

Dangit, these are really good! Clarity & Adjustable
After seeing Darrell Braun's review of some FLEOR pickups, I thought, "What the heck, these will be decent pups to learn how to install on my guitar. If I mess up, I can afford another set". I didn't expect them to actually be *good*. I bought them along with this other FLEOR set to see how they compare: FLEOR High Output Alnico 5 Guitar Pickup Double Coil Humbucker Pickups Neck and Bridge Set Black What I found was really clear tones! Like, somewhere between a typical magnetic pickup, and a piezo pickup. I'm getting good warmth from my neck pickup, but it's clear unless I crank down the tone knob (I used a 500k pot & a .022uf cap), and a decent amount of twang and output from the bridge pickup. But they're not overdriving or cracking up my amp on their own. Distortion pedals take care of that. I'm much happier with these sounds compared to the 1980's Squire Bullet pickups they replaced (ceramic magnets). They have much lower output than the other pickups linked above. In other words, these are better for jazz, blues, rock, and even maybe even 1980's Journey, Joe Satriani and Steve Vai. The other pickups would probably be better suited for speed and death metal. They pair very nicely with a Seymour Duncan COOL RAILS pickup in the middle as far as output goes. Tonally, these have more detail than the cool rails, like the difference between a Shure SM58 and 520DX harmonica mic. The other FLEOR pickups linked above have much higher output than the COOL RAILS pickup. They might work better with a HOT RAILS pickup. One thing to note about these if you do decide to put a COOL RAILS in between them: On my set, they were out of phase when I presumed the wiring was identical to Seymour Duncan pickups (like I heard elsewhere on the internet) I wired mine up as follows to keep them in series and in phase, and was still able to do a coil split using a free-way blade switch (model 5B5-02): Exposed wire: ground and soldered onto the volume pot Green: Output Red & White: Soldered together Black: Ground Hope this helps! Oh, if you are wondering about my colorful pickguard, I had a friend's photograph printed onto it. But you can find something similar on Etsy.

Are Dimarzio, Duncan, and others overcharging the #### out of us!?
Pretty phenomenal for the price, or even if it was $50 more expensive!!! Good tight gain sound, and nice and clean if you need that. The gain sound slightly "squishy" to me, which is almost a bit addictive and fun to play! I would literally treat these as a "go-to". 100%!! Perfect 5/5.

Excellent pups!
Just received my 2nd set and the quality and consistency was right on. Great price! I've used FLEOR pickups in the past and they've always sounded good. These sound just as good and easy to install. I like that they are wax-potted which eliminates squealing at high distortion levels. Nice output on both pickups: clarity on the bridge and warmth on the neck. Also, the pickups are very quiet. My only complaint is that I ordered all black for a color scheme and the included height adjustment screws were chrome which I switched out to black.

Black gold struck here!
This pickup is black gold! Meaning, it sounds really great. Nice mids and low end with just enough highs when clean. Handles gain/distortion like the best of them. It will chug! I've purchased several cheap pickups from other companies on Amazon and this pickup has surpassed all of them! I've bought invader style, dual blade humbucker, alnico 5's humbucker from different companies and took a chance on this pickup because of the discount. And this thing is wicked. I own other high priced 100.00 pickups and this is just as good. Sound wise, compare to Dimarzio super distortion DP100. This is better than a SD jb (I have one). Also sounds similar to a SD hot rails (I have also). This thing for 16.00$ is an absolute gem. I may even get another just to have a spare for another guitar. If I were you I'd click that buy now button before people realize how good this pickup is and it's gone. Great harmonics too by the way. I could go on and on about how good this thing is. After installing it measures on the multimeter at 15.13k out the input jack. Not microphonic at all and silent.
