Organic Date Sugar - Forest Whole Foods (500g)

This is my favourite brand of date sugar . I have bought several times and always perfect. We switched to eating clean / non chemical food and cut out all refined sugar . We often use dates for sweetness. This date sugar has allowed us to enjoy baked “cookies “ and cake type treats without the high blood sugar spike that comes with the equally delicious coconut sugar. The texture of our baked goods turn out a little different but still lovely and still sweet! I tried making butter cream with it but the texture just isn’t for me used that way . I would imagine it’s the same for drinks ( it’s actual dates so doesn’t just dissolve )

Great used on cereal or on or added to products. However not nice in coffee. It is fine powder, but like sludge in cup. Leaves horrible bits on outside and bottom of cup as does not dissolve. However the taste is okay. Wanted to try as recommended as better for blood sugar levels.

But, it allows me to sweeten my breakfast or other things with something that at least makes an attempt to supply fibre and other nutrients. I always used xylitol previously, but now that there is a question mark over the safety of xylitol (platelet behaviour disruption), the date sugar is my fallback.

Do not buy this product for hot drinks ( coffee ect) does not dissolve, sits at the bottom of the mug like sludge

This works fabulously as a sugar replacement in baking, and is much healthier. Very pleased with it. Makes lovely cookies and cakes.

I have used this product for almost three years, ever since I started my weight loss journey and I have always been happy and satisfied with each purchase until this last one that was delivered yesterday. The taste was different and not in a good way. It tasted kinda of burnt and that totally changed it for me! Unfortunately I bought 5kg which usually lasts me about four to five months. I don’t know what to do when the taste isn’t the best neither is it very nice. I’m sorely disappointed at this last purchase. My confidence in the brand and its usually great quality are shaken! I haven’t gotten the quality I always get buying this product. Not a happy customer 😢 😢 😢 😢

Aww love this texture of date sugar! I’m just hoping it isn’t madly processed. The usual one I’m use to is difficult to separate and gets clumpy. This is great and works much better with baking and with my breakfast I love it! I have no idea why people use sugar.

Wasn't the best, yet has some sweetness to it. Wouldn't buy again
