PanPastel Artist Pastels by GOLDEN, Painting Set, 10 Color, Professional Artist Pastels, Unique Pan Format (cake-like)

I'm brand new to pan pastels and love them so far. I'm a watercolorist and I have used these to cover up some things I couldn't fix in watercolors. There is a wide range of colors so you can make many colors from this set. I ordered the colorless blender from PanPastel and that works great too. Would be awesome to include with this set. The price seemed just right. The set included some Sofft tools which was nice to try out. Extra lids would be great as I might want to separate them some time but no biggie. Overall, a nice set to get started with.

Highly recommend. Arrived safely without damage for those who aren’t familiar with how these come, they are stacked together and there is just one lid covering the top color. I would recommend that you get the tray that holds 10 or 20 depending on your needs so that you don’t need individual lids. The way it is made to store makes it easy to travel with and takes up less space but if you get one of the storage trays, it is like having a pallet of them and you can leave them separate but covered. Also comes with several tools inside , and with practice, you can blend and combine to make many other colors with this set

I love getting new things to play with or that will add to my artwork. These are awesome and have a somewhat reasonable price. Packing is a bit iffy on this product because bought a different set and the base cracked so I have be cautious when touching that one. These were perfectly packaged or there was a lot of dropping or shaking of the box. I totally recommend these to add to your artwork and rise to a different level of experience.

I have successfully used PanPastels several times. They are very sheer if a thin layer is used but can be more opaque by adding more layers. I love that there is less dust than when using regular pastels. The packaging of this set makes them easy to transport, but I don't like that I can't see the color at a glance unless the pans are separated. If you plan to use them often, I would suggest buying the palette as well. They are a bit expensive, but a little goes a long way. I wish every set that includes sponge applicators also included the offset palette knives that fit each sponge. I'm not going to purchase them. I found household items that I can use just as well for application when I don't want to use my fingers. If I find that I am using them often, I will buy some single shades of Pan Pastels as this set included good basic colors but not several of my most used colors.

I can recommend these Pan pastels highly...Rich vibrant colors with a velvety smooth consistency. If you are a Pastel Artist these are a must have. The only drawback as far as I am concerned is the stacking system they use. The bottom of one Pastel is the top of the other, making picking out the color you want a bit of a bother. Each Pan pastel really should have its own lid. Yes, you can purchase them separately but you really shouldn't have to do that...

PanPastels are a great product, but the listing is incorrect and misleading. It says the set comes with yellow ochre/oxide, but it came with orange which I had previously ordered separately and used. So, now I have two oranges. I want the yellow ochre/oxide and will now need to order it separately at a higher price. As a hobby arts, it will be years before I need a second orange.

Meravigliosi! Mai usati pastelli cosi! Si lasciano lavorare bene ,ottimi per coprire grandi spazi. Unica pecca e" la confezione,per il grande costo che hanno sarebbe stato meglio che ogni colore avesse il suo coperchietto!!

Prachtige kleuren Panpastel met wit mooie pastel tinten van te maken. Ik ben softpastel krijt van de duurdere merken gewend maar vindt de Panpastel lastiger werken maar je wordt minder vies en op pastel mat van clairfontaine zeker mooi te verwerken zonder krijtstof🤪

A marca, é indiscutível, ótima. Mas o envio foi muito mal feito. Embalado da pior maneira, vieram muito quebrados os pós em cada recipiente, ao ponto de sair para fora da emblagem. Não pensei que fosse vir de uma maneira tão ruim. Gastei mais material nesse desperdício do que se estivesse usado em algum trabalho artístico. Um material caro vindo dessa forma é lamentável.
