Why is expiration date 7-25 and you are still selling it

I use this daily for my birds to keep them healthy. I just add part of a scoop to their fresh water daily. The birds don’t even notice it. So far so good!

I add this to my bird's water. I like that fact--a lot of the probiotics you need to give dry on their food.

It might be too soon to tell, but I want to share my experience to help other Budgie owners. My little guy was having digestive issues for about three days. Droppings were few, bright green and watery, he was lethargic, quiet, hardly ate or drank and continued to adjust his crop - Day one. In addition to sanitizing and removing any potential culprits immediately, the following day I sprinkled some activated charcoal on his food and his appetite increased as well as droppings. Day three I sprinkled this probiotic on his food and water and he is doing a lot better all around. I’m on Day four and he is almost back to normal. Just want to note that he did fly around after day one occasionally even though he was pretty sick. I know him very well so I kept my attention on him and hardly left him alone each day. I have read they hide illness as a survival mechanism, so don’t trust flight as a clue your budgie is better. Stay with him and do everything you can, as soon as you can.

I purchased this products as our vet has recommended keeping our birds on regular probiotics for health. The vet ran into an issue with their supply for benebac probiotics so we had to find something different. I decided to try this one because it seemed like a trusted brand from my research online. The good: The powder mixes easily into any type of food and my birds don’t seem to notice the taste because they still eat all parts of their food. That is the most important thing to me because if they dislike the flavor then it’s extremely difficult to get them to ingest it. The not so good: 1) due to this being a powder there’s no real way to gauge how much your bird is actually getting. If you sprinkle it over food or in water you’re counting on your bird finishing all their food and water which is unlikely. For this, I have found the best method is to mix the probiotic powder into a pea sized amount of mushy food and feed my birds right from my finger to ensure that they actually eat it all. We use a little bit of natural peanut butter or Harrison’s Mash. This works a lot better than just sprinkling it over food and it makes your bird think they’re getting a little treat. 2) The measuring for this powder is not very accurate in my opinion. The scoop is extremely small and in my case I have one bird under 100 grams so the “dose” is 1/8 of a scoop. There’s no lines or anything on the scoop so it’s really just a guessing game. My other bird is supposed to receive 1/4 scoop which is a little easier to measure but still not great. It seems it would be very easy to over or under administer the probiotics which for this reason I would not recommend this product. It would be great if they gave you multiple sized scoops or put measuring lines on the scoop to make it more accurate.

I add Flora bird to my cockatiels water daily. I recommend and so does my birds veterinarian. It helps to keep them healthy and they love it.
