The metal body has a nice weight to it, not so light it feels flimsy, not so heavy it's straining the port. For something this small, you'd expect it to feel a bit throwaway, but it doesn't. This adapter functions well in a vehicle with USB C sockets and is portable and easy to use, allowing me to connect a USB pen with my music on to a laptop of either type. Yes, I can link my phone directly, I realise and do but..... Sometimes this is just simpler and easier. 4-stars.

These are terrific, with great built quality. They just work: no set-up, no faff. I bought them because my new laptop only has 3 regular USB ports and 2 USB-C ports that I won't use. I've used the adapters with a USB headset, USB dongle for a wireless keyboard, and a game controller. They all work fine. The adapters have tiny white LED light on them which I found distracting, so I simply plugged the adapters in upside down, with the light pointing the other way. I use two adapters side-by-side and there are no issues with space. They're not wide or bulky.

This item does exactly what it says on the tin. Due to my usb A port not working on my laptop this was a handy little work around that buys me a bit of time before repair. Its small enough to not look too bulky. It seems durable out of a solid material. The value for money is spot on. Charges at expected rates.

Bought these for the car to plug in my music filled USB flash drives as the new car had type C sockets as opposed to type A in the previous model. These work a treat, the connection feels good and solid and the adapters themselves appear to be very well made and robust. I don't use them for charging, purely for music listening and they work perfectly in this respect for me, Really pleased with my purchase and the price paid. Excellent!
