Changed to 5 stars as this product is worth that rating* Review Before Fix: Well we loved these lights so much! BUT.. they no longer work. Purchased them in late August, it has been 3 months and they no longer work. They won’t turn on/off with the remote and we have even tried other remotes with the same style lights. The outlet works, but not sure what the issue is ): what a bummer as we wanted them for the holidays. If the sellers reach out I will update how they handle but otherwise leaving a 2 star since they lasted 3 months alone ): We did not run them a lot either. It was about 2 days a week for a few hours.

I am so happy with these led lights. They were super easy to put up. I had ordered the DAYBETTER Led Strip Lights Smart with App Control Remote, 5050 RGB for Bedroom, Music Sync Color Changing for Room Party 200 ft (4 Rolls of 50 ft). These led lights came with a remote but using the DAYBETTER app is so much easier, all you have to do is scan the QR code download the app and done. On the DAYBETTER app there are a lot of color options that you can make and save. Also on the DAYBETTER app you can set a timer when you want your led lights to come on or off. The music sync works really well. These led lights are bright. When installing the led light please note they are super sticky on the back so when you when peel off the backing to apply them to your walls make sure you have them where you want them. I went by the instructions that came with the led lights and when I cleaned off the walls that I was applying the lights too there was no problem with them falling off. So far for the quality I love them and have had no issues. I normally order Govee led lights, I have been a customer with them for 6yrs but they are expensive and for the price of DAYBETTER led lights I really love them. DAYBETTER has gained a new customer!!

These LED strips provide excellent lighting and the 100ft length covers a large area. The colors are vibrant and the RGB options are extensive. The app control is convenient and works reliably. Easy to set schedules, adjust brightness, and switch between colors or lighting modes. Installation was straightforward with strong adhesive backing. The strips are bright enough to be primary lighting or perfect for accent/mood lighting. Solid quality LED strips with great smart features. Highly recommend for anyone wanting affordable smart lighting.

Okay, let me preface this by saying it's junk. Of course it's junk... look at that price. That should tell you something. BUT it does work and customer service seems pretty good. I got mine in and the remote wouldn't work. Contacted customer service and they sent me one right out. Then, when I was actually putting the lights up in my home theater, I was winding the string around the corner of my cabinet and it just snapped! Broke right in two with no real pressure. The remaining lights kept working, though, so I left it as-is and you can see in the picture that the left side has more light behind the cabinet that the right side. 9/23/25 Edit: I've got to up these guys a star. They saw my review and contacted me, offering me a full refund. C'mon, you really can't go wrong with these. They work, they're cheap. Are they built like a tank? No. But they work fine. It's a good little piece of lighting for your home theater for cheap.

I bought these for my dorm because they were super cheap, but they work great. I have even bought another 200 feet for my bedroom since it stay pretty dark in there even with the lights on. Since they’re so cheap, the color will be a bit off, especially in the white, green, and yellow shades. They can’t seem to get those colors quite right. However, for the price, I’d say it’s worth the trade-off. They aren’t inherently difficult to install, but because of where I was installing them, it was a bit exhausting. But do note that if you plan to put them on the wall, you really need to put a bit of painter’s tape under them so that you won’t damage the wall when you remove them. The app is pretty easy to use, and the timer automation is great. Just note that if the power goes out or they’re unplugged, you have to reset the timer since it basically factory resets the lights. The adhesive seems to be holding up pretty well. I haven’t had any issues with these lights other than where one section occasionally dims, but that’s because of how I installed them. I ran one of the 50ft rolls under my desk and one part is right where my knee sometimes rests, and that messes with a kink in the strip that I made, and that just interrupts the power slightly. So try not to make any sharp turned with the lights, do gradual turns.

I really tried with this company. I have my house hooked up to Tuya Smart. Inside the app, they promote items that supposedly work with Tuya. I ordered a set of SMD 5050 as they were listed on Tuya, I even searched for Wifi LED strip lights separately, and the SMD 5050 popped up. I ordered, installed, and finally realized, they don't work with wifi. Amazon graciously refunded me, and also let me keep the lights because I told them there's no way I'm getting the adhesive cover back on the lights to return, and then they would just go in the trash anyways. So I uninstalled them from their location and moved them to my daughter's room. I then ordered these "Smart" lights, also a recommendation from Tuya. This time, I ordered 4 units as I want to get my house lit up and really love the idea of the IC function. Biggest mistake. Fooled me twice. Still DOES NOT connect to wifi. The bluetooth is proprietary to THEIR app, Daybetter. Can't control them with Tuya. Tried reaching out to Daybetter customer service and have gotten crickets. Return initiated. Also, during my short time installing the first package of these RGBIC lights, I struggled to get the adhesive backing off and then I VERY EASILY tore the strip about 4 ft from the end and ended up losing that section. Really, REALLY low quality product here. Be aware that the power adapter that they include makes a very high pitch frequency when plugged in and the lights are not on, when the lights aren't connected, and when you use "fade", "flash" or "jump". This is due to cheap components in the adapter. It also gets very hot, very fast which is highly concerning and not something I'm going to gamble burning my house down over. (And for anyone concerned that I installed this terrible product in my daughter's room with this overheating issue, I ordered a separate power adapter that is actually worth the $6.97 I paid for and the SMD 5050 lights work as intended now with no overheating and no high frequency sound) Don't be like me, just buy something better quality, (like I will be now) because when I think of cheap amazon crap, this is exactly what I imagine.

12/23/25 UPDATE Great communication from seller. Apologized for the defect and gave me a full refund without asking. Ordered another set and discovered that the initial set was indeed defective. I plugged these lights in while still on the spool and they displayed a colorful rainbow light show indicating all light segments worked. The initial defectiveset did not light up like this when plugged in. Installation was quick and all segments are programmable as described. I will definitely buy more lights from them. Great product at a great price. Great seller. Love the adjustable brightness and the selection of colors, but not all colors show up. Orange, yellow, green all appear as green. Two of the light sections do not change colors and stay on green. Unable to get desired color combinations due to sections only showing up as green. Will have to go with another brand.
