Kwazii's Pirate Book of Sea Monsters (Octonauts) [Grosset & Dunlap] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. Kwazii's Pirate Book of Sea Monsters (Octonauts) Review: LOVED by my 3.5 and 2 year old boys! - My two boys LOVE the Octonauts and they got this book for Christmas. They’ve read it every single day since then, and have insisted that my husband read at least three stories from it every night - in his best Kwazi voice, of course! On one page, it has the spooky story of the mysterious sea creature, and then when you turn the page it has pictures and an explanation of the actual sea creature. Good illustrations and exciting stories. Great gift for any Octonaut fans in your life. Review: Kids love it - This book does seem pricey at first, I generally only purchase the kids books that are only a few dollars, but I thought this book may just be worth the high price tag to have a big collection of sea monsters. I am very glad I did buy it, it's worth every penny. One I purchased it on the day my son who is obsessed with the show was scheduled for surgery, it kept him entertained while we waited all the way till he went into the OR. Since he has been watching the show for a while, he could even name the monsters off before we got to the real names. It covers 13 from the show, all of which my son had seen. Of course Kwazzi has his own made-up name for each monster, and it gives you his version and then the actual creature with the information. Here is a list of who this book covers 1. The eight headed sea monster - the octopus 2. The vampire squid- which is actually called vampire squid 3. The duck faced river monster - duck-billed platypus 4. The ghost pirate - The Decorator Crab 5. The Nackawack- oarfish 6. The tri-toothed terror - cookie cutter shark 7. The sea ghost - long-armed squid 8. The magical flying swords - swordfish 9. The monster of creepy Cove- cuttlefish 10. The giant shrimp monster - snapping shrimp 11. The ghost whale - Albino Humpback Whale 12. The Sea of Vanishing ships - the loggerhead sea turtle 13. The ice Fanged Chomper - Weddell seal Conclusion- overall I'm very happy with my purchase and if your child has been watching the show they should recognize most of the creatures if not all of them.

Great book, but prices are inflated
My son loves this book and often brings it to us to read. However, the price for available copies seems to be over-inflated for a short, paperback children’s book with MSRP at the barcode showing $3.99 USD. Otherwise, I’d have rated it five stars.

Yay for Octonauts!
My 4 year old son loves Octonauts, and most of all, LOVES Kwazii. It's hard to find Octonauts books that are not the episodes he's already seen/memorized. This is a great book. It's fun and a little educational, and my son adores every bit of it.

Book material is of good quality. A fun read for the little on that loves octonauts! A bit wordy for younger readers with low attention spans, but still a great book!

It's a nice summary of Kwazii's sea monsters
It's a nice summary of Kwazii's sea monsters. There is a description of the monster ala Pirate lore, then a follow-up with the accurate info on that actual animal (they are never monsters).

My son loved it though he was under 3 years old but he still reads it.

Like this book but not as much as the other books - these are individual 2 page 'stories' about creatures, they are nice little informative stories but not as captivating as the full story books. We do like this book and LOVE Octonauts so any Octonauts fans would enjoy this.
