Wonderful Accessory For Gaming as a Player
I just received the Dragon Purple RPG Organizer Case yesterday and I must say, overall, I was impressed. The outside of the case is hard enough to withstand bumps and bangs and can handle a few books stacked on top without it collapsing onto anything inside of the case. The little round metal tchotchke thingy (see official pic) that came attached to the side was an unexpected and not unwelcome surprise either. The inside of the case is rather spacious if one optimizes the space if available. While I did not expect the case to come with any sort of hardware akin to a 3-ring binder, the soft foam dividers on the right side of the open case can be removed, including the foam tray for miniatures, and the empty space provided is more than enough room to store plenty of loose papers, cards, dice, trinkets, and a 1 inch 3-ring binder if the user is so inclined. While the Velcro * mesh pouch on the left side is plenty big enough for 4-5 sets of dice lying flat, it'll never be used this way for a Dice Goblin or a Dice Dragon. I would suggest a switcheroo and instead use the pouch to carry cards, pens, pencils, markers, or a combination of any of those. The "tray" on the left side, which is divided into 2 sections horizontally, both serving several purposes including a dice tray, is well suited to storing that mesh pouch and plenty of other items as well. Cards come to mind immediately and any of the numerous "spellbooks" available out there that fit standard cards for D&D fit nicely into the tray areas. All in all, this is a great accessory as a player and its versatility for storage options is wide-ranging. As a Player, I would posit that this organizer case sends a statement to any player in the group that doesn't have one, that you are serious about your character, which is exactly why I got it "snickers* for the next campaign I'll be playing in. Maybe showing off a little from time to time is not a bad thing? *shrugs* I rarely get to play as I am a full time DM, so something like this really helps me to become more invested in a PC I have created.

Well built and thought out.
Got this for my son and it is perfect for our campaigns. Holds everything tight and secure. I recommend this to anyone who plays DnD especially in multiple campaigns. Quality is awesome. I will be purchasing more as gifts.

Looks great!
Even though we had to send this product back due to it being too large for my son’s gaming bag. It looked great the outside case was fabulous to protect everything inside. Is like a large larger notebook size and my son was just looking for something small smaller.

GM approved; Player overkill.
The size is about as big as a character sheet and has a lot of storage for minis and dice. The dice rolling tray is great but if you roll too hard the dice bounce out. Would say this is great for maybe the GM and would be nice to see a smaller size for players so it doesn’t take too much room at the table. Sturdy so nothing is getting ruined.

This thing is a beast!
The first noticeable thing about this binder is the hard outer shell and overall build quality. It is dense, well built, and you can tell a lot of thought and care went into this product. I love the variety of colors, the sleek dragon scale design. The inner compartments are very versatile with removable parts. It's beautiful, functional and a great collectors item. While it is a little pricey for a binder, when you factor the build quality and uniqueness, it's really a great value. Plus it has a three year warranty for registered products!

Great quality and functionality for the price. Should last a really long time. The size and style are perfect for anyone looking to have a compact gaming storage system.

Son loves it
A little price but the but the binder is very nice. My son uses it all the time with his local D&D club. He loves it. Holds everything he needs to play and is holding up well with all the traveling.

Clever design, and has uses outside of RPGs
First, the bad news: the company that produces this item includes a note urging you to register the product for an extended 3-year warranty. I tried, and they refused. I assume it was because I purchased this from Amazon instead of them directly. Getting a warranty via Amazon costs too much money. Folks, this is really clever. This binder contains several ways to store your gaming items. If you're like me and don't need the foam miniature insert, you'll have plenty of extra space on the right side for storing items. I would advise being careful in not storing anything bulky on the left side, because you don't want it to press too hard against the center divider containing the laminated cover for dry erase markers. I wish there was a way to protect it from scratches. I place a piece of thick felt over it when I close it. Even though it's designed for RPG players, you can also use this for storing some board games in this binder. You'll have to take the components out of the game box to store them in the binder, but this can be a great way to take smaller games to game night. I also like the dice tray area on the left side. It isn't particularly deep, so dice could jump over the edge if you're too aggressive in rolling. But the area is large enough that I haven't had this happen very often.
