Wild Harvest Advanced Nutrition Diet For Parakeets 4.5 Pounds, Seed And Grain Mix

I bought this for my parakeets and they do enjoy it, especially the smaller seeds in the mix. The variety is good and it looks fresh when you open the bag. However, not all the seeds get eaten. Mine tend to leave some of the larger pieces behind, so there is a bit of waste depending on your birds’ preferences. I’ve been using it for a few days and they go through most of it, but I still have to clean out leftovers regularly. ✔️ Pros: • Good variety of seeds • Birds seem to enjoy it • Looks fresh ❌ Cons: • Some seeds get left behind • Can create a bit of waste

I’ve been feeding my parakeets the Wild Harvest Advanced Nutrition Diet, and they absolutely love it. The mix of seeds and grains seems well-balanced, and my birds are active and happy after switching to it. The 4.5-pound bag is a good size, keeping their food supply consistent without going stale too quickly. Overall, it’s a high-quality, nutritious option that keeps my parakeets healthy and satisfied

Haven't gotten my birds yet but honestly it smells good i kinda want to eat it myself it is very large so it will last a while an honestly overall I believe that it is a great food for birds

It’s smelly. I was under the impression it had fruits and veggies in it, which it does not, this was a disappointment. Some of the seeds seems rather large for parakeets, but I will see how mine do with it. They added yellow and blue food coloring for some reason to parts of this feed, which I see no purpose in. I also question the quality of the grain as I have concerns about pesticides used on crops. The packaging was well done however I did transfer into a glass bowl with a tight lid that I keep refrigerated and pull one pint at a time that I keep buy my birdcage. I felt like this would keep the feed fresh and maybe prevent bugs as some people in these reviews have complained about. It’s my first try for this food and I will make a fruit and veggie supplement myself as I give it a try. I may or may not order again I have to see how my birds will do and how I feel overall after a couple of weeks. 05/16 update My parakeets don’t care for this feed. Many pieces are just too large. It smells and there are no fruits or veggies in it. They are always anxious to get to their food every morning but not with this food. They jumped around back and forth not even wanting to go to their food bowl. I won’t purchase this again.

Price was great compared to pet stores and my bird loves it, the quality, and the nutrition is good quality birdfood.
