I have tried about every BPH prescription available, maybe every one. All of them either didn't work or had bad side effects. The most recent in order, were Aluzosin, Mybetriq & Avodart. Urinozinc Plus not only works as well or better than any previous prescription drug but has no side effects. No reduction of libido or performance, no headaches, cold symptoms, mental cloudiness, depression or fatigue. My recall is better than it has been for years which was a side effect I didn't recognize, thought it was age related. I'm ready for Jeopardy again. Urinozinc Plus is about the same as the effective prescription meds in the number of nighttime toilet visits but is much better during waking hours in controlling strong urges to pee not that long after going & having to tie myself into a knot to hold it when I know a toilet is nearby. Sitting in movie theaters does not require finding an aisle seat anymore. No desperate searching for a men's rooms or dense bushes on long walks. I find it works best taking 1 pill at breakfast & 1 with dinner. It also has improved my chronic sleep problems. I waited months to write a review because I wanted to see if worked long term. I found this stuff by reading reviews here, then bought 30 day supply locally to try it because I was skeptical of over the counter remedies after trying saw palmetto. I have since ordered a 3 month's supply twice on Amazon.

I started using this product four months ago after searching the internet and reading the reviews. I suddenly found myself taking longer and longer to urinate and never felt like I had emptied my bladder completely. It seemed as though the high level alarm, (we need to go to the bathroom), was not working, only the high high level ( we must go to the bathroom NOW!) was operational. Plus I was getting up at night every two hours, on the hour. I almost went to the emergency department at one stage. I ordered some of this product and started taking to every night before I went to bed. At first there was no observed improvement, but after about a month, there was, after another two months I was virtually back to normal. I am a 79 year old and two weeks ago, I went for my annual physical, my doctor said that my prostate, was no larger than it had been at the last physical, and that it even might be slightly smaller. I told her about this product and she was very interested and made a note of it. A urine test revealed that I had a slight infection, which she cleared up with an antibiotic. I no longer have to get up in the middle of the night and my urine flow is normal. I heartily recommend this product, but you must be patient, it will not cure you overnight, it will take around three months or so.

Este suplemento lo usa mi esposo , pero la verdad es que dice que no he notado la diferencia desde que lo comenzo a tomar. De igual manera se lo termino y no noto mada .

This product has a foul smell and taste. I burp up the taste and smell for some time after taking. I tried eating toast while taking the pills but it still had the same bad taste. The bad taste does go away once it gets to my lower stomach but getting it there is a chore. I got good results from the pills right away (several days) which was good, I don't have the urge to go as much as I use too. I don't wake up during the night and the stream is better. Something has to happen to fix this foul taste or I will ask for a refund and try something else, I'm waiting for Urinozinc.com to answer my request for why does it taste and smell bad. I also give it 3 stars on the size of the pills, they are hard to swallow.

I took this as directed for 3 months hoping to relieve my BPH symptoms. It did not reduce the number of bathroom trips at night (5-6) and did not improve flow. The only good thing was that there was no detectable side effects. A little research online revealed that two randomized control trials looking at the effect of saw palmetto on BPH symptoms showed no statistically significant effect. There were some studies showing a slight positive effect of beta-sitosterol for BPH but it didn't work for me. Just recently my doctor recommended tamsulosin (generic Flomax) which is widely prescribed for BPH. I noticed it working after only one dose and four days later improvement was dramatic. I was fearful of the potential side effects but have not experienced any at all. Doc says the vast majority of men have no problem with it. As a bonus tamsulosin is covered under my Medicare plan making it cheaper than the supplements like this that don't work.
