Clear Paint Surface Protection Bulk Film Roll 6-by-84-inches

This is the best for use on your vehicle to protect painted surfaces. I primarily use it along the lower door openings to stop shoes scuffing paint when going in and out, There a many you tube videos showing ideas of where and how to apply.

Worked out great, better than i expected. Cut it to the shape I needed, peeled the backing off and wet the sled and the film. Applied it to the sled, But work fast. The section I put it on, was not a flat surface. So it took a while to squeeze out the air bubbles, I think it was worth the extra time. A flat surface would be easier.

I have numerous pairs of louboutins with the characteristic red soles and let me tell anyone who is looking for a cost effective and functional sole protector that is crystal clear (not cloudy which I hate ) this 3m product is well worth it. Great product ! All you do is trace the sole shape on the role ( reverse it ) cut it out, attach it to the site and cut the excess film off, perfect !

The product was used to apply a 12" strip across the hood of a new Ford truck. It WORKS well. It is NOT, however, ANYWHERE NEAR as easy to install as the installation videos on the Internet would lead you to believe. Be sure and have (or get) a squeegee for applying this stuff, and make sure you have plenty of soapy water (mixed according to the installation instructions) and alcohol water (again, mixed according to the instructions. Be VERY patient, and allocate WAY MORE THAN ENOUGH TIME TO DO THE INSTALLATION. AND, be SURE to have someone to help 'cause if you try to install this by yourself you may find it WAY more difficult than necessary. The truck on which it was installed has a simple hood configuration with virtually no difficult curves or tight corners, so my expectation was that installation would be very simple - ESPECIALLY after watching SEVERAL installation videos that applied the stuff to MUCH more difficult configurations than mine...... Eventually, we got it installed, and for the most part, it looks good... There are some flaws, especially along the edges, but they're not real visible... SO, on a 1-10 scale, for protection, I give it a 9. For ease of installation I give it a 3... It's not as difficult as overhauling an engine, but it's also not as easy as applying window tint!

Amazing product . If you know how to install and have the correct tools and spray with squeegee it works amazing .

Very happy with this. I cut strips with scissors then used it on my doorjambs and door edge to protect against dings. I never used PPF before but it was pretty easy to apply with soapy water spray, my fingers, and a rag. Getting it to slit flat around slight curves was tricky but doable and it came out looking almost professional. Very happy with the results. Glad I went with quality 3M and not some no-name brand that probably doesn't stretch as well.

The film so far works as needed , and I was impressed how easy it was to apply it. Pay attention to the dimensions, and amount of material that this comes with. I didn't have enough to finish my project, and with how little I received, the price seemed a bit much. The picture makes it look like you receive a massive roll, but that is not the case. It's very minimal amount of material.

Once you get the hang of it it isnt too difficult to get a good installation. Try to avoid complex curves and tricky areas like headlights, rear hatch openings all the way out to the corners, etc. I was able to protect the door handle recesses, door sills inside the passenger compartment, and flat areas of the hatch opening inside the rear hatch to protect the top of the bumper cover from golf bags, suitcases, any semi heavy items that might be dragged across the top of the bumper cover when loading or unloading and scratch the paint. I continued down the vertical part of the bumper cover about 2" below the edge and you really do not notice the edge of the film on the bumper unless you look closely.
