Rain-X 880002 Fusion Wiper Blade - 17"

Good quality blades!

We have a 2013 RAV4 that came with the newer "aero" or "designer" design type blades. They have a shield over the top of the blade to channel the wind and hold the blade down. These replace those perfectly. I have had these on for 6 months and they still work great - no streaks. Even with the severe winter that we have had here in the northeast. One reviewer noted - correctly - that these have a protective plastic gray sheath on the rubber that must be slide off before using. If you don't - yes, they will streak. I 've given these 5 stars - they work well and seem durable.

Easy installation (not uncommon for wiper blades but good, clear instructions is not always included but was with this). Work great on my 2013 RAV4 Limited up here in CO (snow and rain, plus general dirt clean with window washer fluid when up in the mountains/dirt roads), also got other ones of these for my families vehicles in FL and they worked great on those too (Highlander Limited and Prius Limited). I'd even venture as far to say that I am a loyal Rain-X customer.

My vehicle is a 2015 Mazda 6 and I've been having trouble finding wipers that don't leave streaks. I've been through quite a few pairs of wipers, some I have pitched within just a few weeks. I've tried the Mazda offering, a Bosch offering, and another Rain-X offering. This time around, I bought a Rain-X Fusion wiper for the drivers side only. Amazingly it is NOT leaving streaks, although the bottom half of the wiper could probably have firmer contact with the windshield. In other words, I am more than half happy. Anyhow, yes, I did need to use tape to secure the attachment clasp. And, yes, in order for the clasp to work at all, I first had to completely remove the clasp completely from the wiper. So, a strange work around that not everyone is going to be willing to do. Here is what I did: open the toe of the clasp, removed the heal of the clasp, inserted the wiper arm into the Fusion wiper, inserted the toe of the clasp, reattached the the heal. Yes, toe-then heal, but it all clicked in place. Then I applied a short piece of common black electrical tape to keep the clasp closed. The electrical tape has survived the winter snow and ice, as well, as direct winter sun. We'll see how the tape reacts to the heat of summer. The tape is not at all noticeable. Meanwhile, the Bosch wiper is in the trunk should the Fusion fling itself off as described in other reviews. So, for me, the risk of wasting another 20 bucks or so has paid off as I am more than half happy....hence the four stars.

The fit was perfect they work very well. I've never used this particular brand before so we'll see if they hold up through the winter months, as of right now they're very good quality I would definitely recommend. I will make any additions in the future should they fail.

They were very easy to install because the directions where on the packaging. Also, they are well made with great quality blades for the price. So far they are holding up superb.

It is a good product with perfect design No noise

I really like these wipers and I can't find them locally. They seem to be a well kept secret. They have a durable synthetic rubber squeegee where the blade contacts the windshield. So, they wear well, don't steak, and don't skip. Mine are 9 months old and look and perform as new. Note: Be sure to check to see if your vehicle has different lengths for left and right sides. My 2020 Tacoma uses 22" and 20". There are conflicting accounts of proper sizing online, so I measured them prior to ordering. Update: I can't seem to make these things stop chattering. I've tried everything. They still work well (I don't drive that vehicle often), but the chattering is a no go for me. So, I'm replacing them with another brand.

The wiper chattering starts after one-month usage. Poor quality product.
