Not the cheapest not the priciest, but in the goldilocks zone for me. Easy to see water level 360' in any light. Obvious 'on' button with clear light. No drip filter point and no drip insulated jug of elegant robust design, (all cheaper ones I've seen, drip on both). Instructions are simple. Quick top brew with optional slow robust setting. Keeps your coffee hot over 2 hours without burning it. Easy to clear. Descaling function RECOMMENDED

This was a gift for my husband and he uses it daily. The coffee stays warm for quite some time after being made. The machine is quiet and easy to use. It looks very stylish and is compact.

Purchased this item as it was highly recommended by the consumer magazine Which. Unfortunately I didn't dig deeply enough into the item in Which. It is well made and like a vacuum flask keeps the coffee reasonably warm for a reasonable time but is not heated; a sadly missing facility. My mistake.

I've had a Melita Coffee machine before which lasted over 10 years so I know they are good quality and long lasting I like the style of the machine, its neat looking and very easy to use, but most important it makes excellent coffee

We had the previous version of the Melitta Look coffee maker and it was great. It made excellent aromatic coffee. This new one is massively disappointing. It's interesting to see the number of people who have the same issue. We have tried adjusting everything. Using freshly ground coffee, increased amounts and less water - we still get a weak cup of coffee. Please don't get this expecting the same coffee as the before.

I spent a long time looking at replacement coffee machines, when my old one stopped working. I decided on this model & haven't regretted it at all! The design is nice & compact, plus looks great in my kitchen (black & chrome go with my other items). The detachable water tank is easy to hold & carry & makes for filling it very convenient. It's also quick to make a full pot & relatively easy to clean, although the bottom of the water tank is difficult to get to... But, by far the best feature of this model (and the reason I chose it over other, cheaper, options) is the insulated jug. I was tired of making coffee with my old machine & then going to pour a cup later, to find it was cold (glass jug)! Not so with this jug! It keeps the heat for hours, so I can make coffee in the morning for breakfast & still have a hot cup for lunch & even later in the day! Amazing!

These are brilliant coffee machines had one for several years now and decided to get a spare because they are so good get one or regret it

Excellent heat retention. Brewed coffee at 10.30am, coffee still HOT at 3pm. Only deducted 1* because of the price. I would buy it again, though. Will wait to see how it fairs over the next few months
