Cuando llegó me costó entender el sistema. Se basa en una palanquita que pisa el ratón al entrar a por la comida que cierra la puerta tras de sí. Al cerrarse la puerta deja un pequeño seguro para evitar que se vuelva a abrir, por lo que el ratón queda encerrado hasta que lo recojas. Lo compré porque vi a mi gato mirando fijamente un mueble de la despensa e investigando vi cagarrutas de ratón, así que puse una trampa con crema de cacahuete. En menos de una hora ya había caído. Solté al ratón por el campo y puse la trampa de nuevo por si acaso. Bueno, pues ya van cinco ratones cazados en menos de 3 días. El sistema es limpio y eficaz, la voy a dejar puesta por si acaso, esperemos que no haya más ya.

Wir benutzten sieben dieser Fallen bereits seit ca. 10 Jahren in Abseite und Dachboden und haben damit schon hunderte von Mäusen erfolgreich gefangen. Die erste Falle haben wir in England gekauft, von dort stammen sie auch. Für Feldmäuse nutzen wir ausschließlich Rosinen und Haferflocken (ganz wenige) als Köder, klappt bestens. Bleiben Mäuse zu lange drin, können sie sterben (Hunger, Durst, Stress?) - aber manchmal nagen sie sich auch durch die Kunststoffwand (deshalb haben wir schon drei Fallen mit Aluplatte und Klebstoff ausgebessert) - doch damit kann man angesichts der Zuverlässigkeit dieser Fallen bestens leben!

Tenia un ratón en mi dormitorio que solo salía de noche cuando me iba a dormir (típico !!) compré esta trampa y le puse chocolate dentro pues es lo que leí que era un buen cebo- Después de dos semanas sin ratón me decidí a poner otro cebo a ver. Mire en otra pagina web que ponía que la mantequilla de cacahuete es lo mejor y una hora después de poner la trampa con esta mantequilla el ratón ya estaba dentro,súper chiquitito, cabía justo en la trampa. Lo lleve de paseo y lo solte en el campo a 500 metros de la casa. Funciona perfecto con el cebo adecuado. Es una trampa fantástica ya que no daña al animal.

Great service with fast delivery. More than impressed with the efficiency of this trap. Minute I got the trap, had a quick look at the instructions printed on the sticker on bottom of trap. Very easy to work, so no need for extra detailed bits of paper that would just get lost in the back of a drawer anyway. Set it up with a small dollop of peanut butter and positioned the trap where my little furry friend seemed to have set up camp. Checked the trap in the morning but not expecting miracles, thought these little guys were way cleverer than that. Seems not as my little friend was sitting in his little trap looking out at me. Took him for a little run the next day and set him free into the big wild world. Anything I've read says to free them at least a few miles from where caught as they can find their way back. Kept the trap set for a further week with no more prisoners to speak of, so gave it down to my mother at another address who also had a little rodent problem. AND that's with 2 cats in the house. Also gave her the trusty tub of peanut butter and set it up for her. Laughed with scorn at the other silly trap she was using that would only have caught the most dumbest and blindest of mice. Had to run up a dead end ramp to let the see-saw motion spring the trap. Yea, right. Never worked anyways. Anyway, at about midnight on the day of setting up "my" trap and "my" peanut butter, she heard a noise and thought that the cats were messing around. Nope, they weren't even in the room. Checked the trap and found a big beasty of a mouse, in not the happiest of moods. Must have just been caught. It was released unharmed over the fields and on return, the trap was set again. Well, the very next morning, trap was checked again and a slightly smaller furball was now in residence. Also released unharmed a further distance away. So to sum up, this trap is more than 100% effective and highly recommended. Just don't forget the peanut butter.
