Silentnight Easy Living Comfort Rolled Foam Mattress | Medium Soft | Double, White

We bought this Silentnight mattress, along with a medium to soft mattress, same brand, after throwing out our ten year old mattress that I swear was stuffed with pebbles from some beach. We planned to put the medium mattress on the base, and the medium soft one on top of that. And it was very comfortable, except that with the medium to soft mattress on top we found ourselves constantly rolling toward the center of the bed. We changed the method, and put the medium soft on the base, and the medium one on the top. It was absolutely a blissful night's sleep. My great aunt, whom has arthritis at the base of her spine did the same, and with the same method of placement; it has eased her pain incredibly, and she's now telling all and sundry about it. She was clearly pleased, and we are delighted for her sake. Thank you Silentnight! These mattresses are very cheap, but well made and extremely comfortable, and I would highly recommend them.

I chose a rolled mattress to make it easy to get up to our first floor flat. We already had a single Silentnight 3 Zone single mattress in a child's room which was adequate but decided to go for the slightly more expensive 7 zone for our double bed. Really delighted with it. There was almost no chemical smell when we opened it, unlike some brands (we once had a Kayflex one which smelled literally for weeks). It plumped up nicely and is really comfortable - softer than the 3 Zone, which is what I wanted. Very happy with it and such a good price for a double mattress!

I needed a new mattress while moving houses and this one was perfect for the bed frame. It is hard and sturdy and goes well with my memory foam pillows. I have the habit of eating in bed while watching tv series and I love that no matter how much I move my drink won’t spill. It arrived as expected and I also left it to sit on the bed for three days before sleeping on it. It is comfortable and you get used to sleeping on it quite quickly, but I wished it was a bit thicker considering the price. Overall, I would recommend it.

It is good value for your money, it’s not the most comfortable of mattress unless I’m just not used to a thinner mattress but I do have a padded topper on top . I do intend to get a thicker mattress at some point in the future but it’s good for now.

Update.... . Few months down the line and its killing us. Had to get a cheap matress to put under it until we can afford a thicker memory matress! Only had one nights sleep on it but my god what a difference from my old mattress. It's a lot thinner than I thought but so firm and comfortable. My partner and I aren't the lightest of people so I worried that I had wasted money on this product A great nights sleep had by both of us

I've always had spring matresses before and always found that they start well but fairly quickly become uncomfortable - even harmful as the springs break through the covering. So I decided to give memory foam a try. Unrolled it and allowed 24 hours for it to expand then another two or three days for the smell to fade - then I lay on it and was seriously impressed by how comfortable it was - so good!!! So much better than even a new spring matress. I discovered today that I've had it for over two years and it's just as good as it was when I bought it - seriously impressed.

This mattress was originally brought for a spare room (never slept in) but whilst renovating our house and circumstances changed we then began using this mattress as our everyday mattress. I’m a tall but not heavy guy (6ft 3in, 87kg) and the foam in this mattress soon failed, leaving me in a dip and gave me terrible back ache every morning. Initially this mattress felt comfortable so if it were being purchased for a spare room with occasional use or a lightweight childs room I believe it might be ok.

I bought this mattress even tho there weren't too many raving reviews and it was in the middle when it came to how many stars it had. I can say I am super chuffed with it. Maybe my expectations were low as the mattress I was replacing wasn't great. I have back problems so I love that it takes pressure off my shoulders and hips and could be a coincidence but I have been waking up less throughout the night. I think its really comfortable especially for side sleeping! I got the one that's living memory as the mattress itself looked much thicker. Overall really happy with my purchase. Have been using for about 3 weeks at this point.
