TOAKS Titanium 1100ml Pot with Pan

This is a great pot. I only do freezer bag cooking in the backcountry so I needed a pot large enough to boil 6 cups of water for three people. This pot does that - although the volume demarcations in the pot are incorrect. Once know by how much they are off it is easy to mentally adjust. I have to use for the frying pot lid, so to save weight and volume, I purchased the titanium lid directly from Toaks (good fast shipping from USA, good price!). I use this pot with both my Trangia alcohol stove with Evernew Cross Titanium Stand, along with a titanium wind screen, and it all works great together. For longer trips with two people, I leave the alchohol stove system at home and use the BRS-3000T stove (25 grams!) plus a 228 gram isopure fuel can for all my cooking needs. The BRS-3000T on lowest possible setting will boil 1.5 litres of water in this pot in 12 - 14 minutes using 16 grams of fuel. Everything packs into the Toaks pot, inside a cozy, into the pack. Everything together weighs less than 610 grams and will boil 21 litres of water - which for me is 16 boils of 1.5 litres water or 16 meals. Toaks pot with Toaks Titanium lid (not the frying pot lid!) - 199 grams, fuel can full 374 grams gross weight, BRS-3000T stove - 25 grams, mini big - 11 grams.

Toaks le top évidemment ! Prix raisonnable pour la qualité et le titane. Volume parfait pour 2 (un mange dans le pot l'autre dans le couvercle en de servant plusieurs fois) Système de blocage de poignet peut être le seul point à revoir... Mais tout de même super produit qui vaut l'investissement pour sa légèreté son efficacité et sa durée de vie No brainer

Der Topf ist wegen der Pfanne kein Leichtgewicht. Wer an Gewicht sparen möchte, greift zum baugleichen Modell mit normalem Deckel. Eigentlich brauche ich keine Pfanne, aber der CKW-1300 ist das einzigste Modell von TOAKS, bei dem die Pfanne in voller Höhe der Pfanne über den Topf geht - und das geht ganz einfach, da die Pfanne etwas Spiel hat. Ohne Gefahr sich zu verbrennen, kann man immer wieder umrühren und die Pfanne wieder locker auflegen. Auch muss man, im Gegensatz zu normalen Titandeckeln, keine Sorgen haben, dass ein Windstoß den Deckel vom Topf bläst. Bei den Modellen CKW-1350 und CKW-1600 sitzt dagegen die Pfanne ziemlich schlecht auf dem Topf, da macht Umrühren zwischendurch keinen Spaß. Beim CKW-1100 sitzt die Pfanne wiederum ganz passabel. Fazit: der TOAKS CKW-1300 ist der Kochtopf von TOAKS, bei dem das Kochen bei windigen Verhältnissen am meisten Spaß macht.
