Weber Igniter Kit, Fits Genesis 330 Series Models With Front-Mounted Controls

OEM Replacement: easy to replace. I replaced the burners at the same time.

This is an OEM part. I have had my Webber since 2014 and have used it at least 4 times a week. The old igniter was getting a bit tired had to wiggle the button to get it to spark. This was easy to install, took about half an hour. This lights off the grill right away and sparks much faster than the old one.

Old igniter just wasn't working right, so it was time to refurbish the bbq. Got new burners, igniter kit, knobs and flavorizer bars. Installing the igniter was a matter of unscrewing the plastic nut on the front of the control panel, slipping out the igniter and inserting the new one. Since I was also replacing the burners, I replaced two of the four igniters also. Easy job, especially if you aren't replacing the wires. Pull the wire off (not the colored rectangular fitting) and then push the new one on. One weird thing is that the igniter kit had two yellow wire igniters, but the old igniter and the new igniter only had one yellow fitting...not sure why, and it didn't seem to matter. This one has a AA lithium battery, and I will replace it with the same...way better than an alkaline battery. Was a bit expensive, but felt that it provided safety and function like the original and don't want to trust my safety to an off brand. Turn on the gas, hit the igniter, and it lights almost instantaneously. Perfect!!! As a note, the negative end of the battery faces out. Took a look through the instructions to figure that out. Not sure it matters, however.

This is an original Weber part... it was a breeze to install,,, the instructions were pretty accurate... the one issue I had with the installation, is that they said you had to pull off the lid, take out the grills and the Flavour riser bars.... NOPE , don't have to bother with that if you're installing on the Webber #330... just take off the doors, and the front panels and you're good to go... had it apart and back together in less than 15 minutes... the directions are written in over 20 languages.... with pictures like you'd see on IKEA products... you need a Philips screwdriver, and I used a slot screw driver to open up the channels a bit on the burners to accept to the new ceramic parts.. it was a bit to tight.... Buy this product, dead easy to install...
