A Visual Dictionary of Architecture

Book came creased and didn’t look new.

I'm writing a book and I learned early on I know absolutely nothing about architecture. This book has been insanely helpful for the things I can imagine and can't name off the top of my head. It has a ton of information in it, more than I need but I had fun just reading through it when I first got it to see everything it had to offer. Highly recommend as a good reference book.

Esta escrito totalmente en Ingles , por lo que si no tienes nociones de Arquitectura, o Construcción no es fácil següirle el hilo. Pero si lo que buscas es empezar a desenvolverte en ese idioma lo recomiendo, sobre todo a estudiantes de Arquitectura , Buenos Dibujos .

This was given as a Christmas gift to a newly graduated architect student. She was very thankful and said that she will enjoy having this book with her as she begins her new career. It was nice to see that she liked it.

Having flicked through Francis Ching's other books on Architectural Graphics, Design Drawing, Building Construction Illustrated and Architecture: Space, Form and Order - the Visual Dictionary is Ching's best. It is illuminated with vivid drawings covering a range of topics such as historic building features, sustainability, energy, structure, wall, roofs etc. - simply put a delightfully illustrated book that ought to be in any architect's book collection.
