Installed these in my home and we moved. These were a no brainer repurchase for the new house. Easy to install and simple to use. Just one small screw to secure, and a dial in the back to adjust. They hold up well and dampen noise while being an easy upgrade without swapping hinges.

They work great!! Easy to install and NO MORE SLAMMING CABINET DOORS!!! YAY!!! I like that they’re adjustable so they allow the door to close more slowly or more quickly. I can’t stand slamming kitchen cabinet doors. These rock! Way more affordable and easier than changing out ALL the hinges! Thumbs up!

I did a lot of research on soft close add ons for cabinets and chose these. I’m so glad I did! They are super easy to install and make a world of difference. No more banging cabinets! It literally took about a minute per door. Inexpensive alternative to replacing all the hinges - same result!

I just put these on today. They are noting short of amazing. Getting down to drill up on the lower cabinets was the hardest part. The wife loves me again. We have 20 year old oak cabinets in our "new" house and they had self close hinges (very loud). We looked for replacement soft close hinges, but could not find the exact size. Lucky us. We found these and were as skeptical as you are now. Not anymore. Will they outlast me, well, time will tell. I did have four doors where the connecting cabinet screws or the hinge itself were so close to the corner I could not install them as directed. So I installed them about an inch or so below the top corner. They seem to work fine. Now will they stay there for a long time, I do no know, but they seem very secure now. Note: The wife did not want them in the bottom corner of an upper cabinet. No problem. If I could give six stars, I would.

Pros: 1) Easy instructions and quick installation on 21 cabinet door frames. 2) Solidly constructed and well designed to achieve 50,000 cycles, and after 90 days of continuous use they are all working like new. 3) Easily adjustable tension screw by hand 4) Bulk savings both here and on their website also. 5) Responsive and helpful telephone support which can be a real plus these days of online shopping in a global marketplace. 6) Affordable: these aren't the least expensive, but they use materials better than some competitors to justify this while still being very reasonably priced. If you opened one door once per day it would take you about 136 years to reach 50,000 cycles. Cons: 1) It may be difficult to drill to the desired depth without the correct drill stop collar (1/4" or 6.35 mm) or else without getting nervous when drilling into cabinetry frames without confidence. There are other tricks to control depth and this shouldn't be a big issue, but it may be wise to pickup an inexpensive pack of drill stop collars that has a 1/4" collar 2) You'll need and want to use the correct diameter drill bit which is a 2.3 mm or 3/32" It brings me joy to write a 5 star review about a product that makes me feel like I am getting what I pay for and more. The telephone support was responsive and helpful also. My only regret so far is that I didn't know I was going to like it so much or I could have saved by buying a larger pack or in bulk off their website.Will update unless no changes occur.

Waaay too expensive for what you are getting, so, one star for value. But it does have a metal body so there's that over the plastic alternatives. Three stars overall. Very easy to install but the adjustment screw is very tight to begin with and very hard to turn with your fingers once it's installed. Instead, I reccomend you back out the adjustment screw almost all the way before installing, then turning it back in to adjust it after it's screwd in place.

Kitchen project to convert 12 doors to soft close. Installed 3 of these from a trial 5 pack then gave up. None of my cross head drivers seemed to fit exactly right, and more to the point, the screw channels in the piston body are angled in. As a result you can’t fit one right in the top corner of the cabinet as suggested in the installation card. You can’t get the right angle on the screwdriver. The 3 I fitted do work and the resistance adjustment is good but I gave up. I fitted the Hettich screw over dampers to the remaining doors. Much quicker, work better IMHO, and make for a neater installation. Couldn’t recommend, but YMMV. Edit: re-reading the instructions I now see that only 1 screw is needed, angled up if you’re screwing from below, or down if you’re fixing from above. I hadn’t grasped that. On balance, the others are still easier to fit, but I’ve changed the rating for the pistons to 4*

Buying the Rok Hardware 25 Pack of SoftClose dampers for Cabinet Doors was the best purchase ever! For a fraction / miniscule of the price, all our kitchen and bathroom cabinet doors that used to bang very loudly when closed by the kids, are now soft close! I definitely recommend this product. Very easy to install (you just need your drill, a 2.5mm drill bit and a screw driver) and great value for money. The only small gripe I have is that not enough screws were supplied in the pack. Also, if you fit the damper at the top of the cabinetry as recommended in the installation instructions, it is difficult to drill the pilot hole for the top screw. It didn't matter though. I used 1 screw only on the majority of the dampers that I used and they still work like a treat.

Got these dampers for my kitchen cabinet doors after looking at a few videos online. They were easy to install, and solved the problem of the slammy doors really nicely. Have been using these for about a month no, so far no problems.

I was short shipped 25 screws. Only sent one packet if 25 and should have been 50 screws
