This J.K. Adams FRP-1 French Maple rolling dowel 20-1/2 inch by 20 3/4 inch think shipped quickly. Arrived in perfect condition. You can smell the wood! I oiled it with the food grade mineral oil to keep it from sticking and for the care. I choose this company because they handcraft their rolling pins from sustainably harvested North American maple wood right in Dorset, Vermont and because they are a family-owned business that has been in business since 1944. Family owned since 1944 speaks volumes and my preference is to support small to medium sized family businesses. I used this roller for biscuits at Christmas. It rolled and worked well. Very happy with it.

Yes, it is great. Made of superb material. Well designed. But really not worth the money as there are similar products that cost much less.
