just what I hoped for

i was pleasantly surprised that this doesn’t smell too “perfumey” even though ylang ylang is commonly used in a number of perfumes. The scent is mild and derived entirely from natural oils, mostly from trees (not flowery or too feminine for a man). I also found that rubbing it on my elbow and ball of the foot when they were experiencing a mysterious inflammatory episode seemed to soothe it a little, which was a nice bonus (maybe the ginger?). It is oil, that is it doesn’t absorb too quickly so you can effectively use it for massage without constantly having to pump more, but it also doesn’t leave a horribly greasy feeling, is nice to layer on after a shower to keep skin moist and supple. The pump works well. It is a taller, narrower bottle than the one pictured, as several reviews have mentioned, which makes it a little more prone to tipping over than a short squat bottle would do, but it’s no biggy and the volume is as shown. I’m not sold on topical collagen without scientific evidence that it is absorbed and used by the skin (i think you have to eat collagen or its constituents to get it in your skin) and plant stem cells aren’t some miracle but they do have antioxidant effects so it can’t hurt. This just feels nice going on, and didn’t leave me feeling like I had to take a shower to wash it off.

Not as effective as id expected it to be. It is hydrating but I find it leaves a little residue. Dont think ill buy again. Maybe it takes daily applications or more vigorously massaging.. either way, if the company has a particular way that makes this product most effective, it should be listed on the ad or come with the bottle as instructions or something.

This massage oil became my main use, since I have to deal with deep tissue massage in my house, I found it lubricates quite well but not too much that hinders the deep tissue massage. which is a plus for me. might be a placebo effect but I found that the redness/soreness produced by the massage goes away a bit earlier with this oil. the scent is weak which makes it great to wash off, for me who doesn't like lingering scents. cleans off with a quick agitation of soap and water then rinse without leaving annoying scent or any sensation of oil behind in hand or skin that has been treated. I'm about to be in my second bottle so I can't complain from the oil properties, other than the pump attachment of the old one that leaks a bit, so I had to place it in a plastic cap that catches the oil that leaks down over time.

Barely has a smell. Purchased as after shower moisturizer on damp skin. Was not expecting a highly perfumed body oil but at least a light pleasant fragrance. Borderline waste of money since all the carrier oils are easy to obtain. Not much of a spa experience if that’s what one is looking for. Will not repurchase.
