As a Lucinda Riley fan this book enhanced my opinion that she is one of the most enthralling current authors. The story lines are woven between time frames with efficiency and clarity. Lucinda Riley has a very engaging way with a story. Although I enjoyed the Seven Sister series more than this one, it was still an interesting read with well drawn characters.

Always a remarkable read when from the pen of such an accomplished author. Compelling, an absolute page-turner, riveting storyline, and a top-of-the-range plot that not only forces the reader to either love the sinner or hate his audacious attitude. The author takes the reader on a rollercoaster of emotions in more than one way, which makes you feel the characters hurt, betrayal, and constant drama so intensely, that you have to put the book down, to dry some tears. Profound, daring, consuming, all aspects of what is required to make any reader want to read more, much much more. Encore, indeed!
