Bluetooth Stereo System for Home with CD Player, MP3, USB, Audio in, FM Radio, Bass Reflex Speaker, 60W, Remote Control Included

So far so awesome! The system arrived REALLY well packaged and with basic instructions. First thing I did after setting it up to the speakers, was play a cd. Worked great and sounded amazing. Then I plugged in my iPod that I've had for years into the " aux in " mode as my iPod is so old that it doesn't have Bluetooth. It worked a treat. Not being tech savvy myself, I asked my son to set up the Bluetooth for my Spotify music on my iPhone and he done it in seconds, and that worked great as well. I've played a bunch of CDs that I haven't played for a while and it's given them a new lease of life, they sound clearer and better somehow. I haven't used the radio, MP3 or USB functions yet. I'm over the moon that I bought THIS wee system. I love it!!!!!

This is an excellent stereo system with many additional features to enhance its value. Firstly, it was extremely easy to set up - the only exception being the insertion of the four speaker wires into the main unit. However, this fiddly task need only be undertaken once! The CD Player is simple to operate and has a smooth tray movement when inserting or removing CD's. The Bluetooth pairing is again simple to set up and it works well with apps such as Amazon Music. Other audio devices can also be connected via the Audio Input facility. In this regard, we successfully set up our home satellite radio through this audio channel. FM radio also operates well for all nearby local stations. It comes with a remote which covers most functions including a sound selector acting as a mini graphic equalizer. The overall sound quality is very acceptable at both high, medium, and low frequencies. Should you want a bass output to shake the walls, this unit is not for you but, for a medium to large room, it sounds great. The only criticism is the lack of a more comprehensive user manual. It does come with a quick start guide but this does not cover some of the more useful information. However, this omission was not sufficient to prevent my selection of a five-star rating for this excellent unit.

I like this small stereo. Set up is easy. Sound is good. Has a CD player and radio. No written booklet in the box. I had to go to YouTube to find how to set radio presets.

Quick delivery, easy setup, superb sound. Installed eyelets along the window sill behind and above the unit to run the radio antenna through; the wire is looped at the end, so it's easy to secure with a thumbtack. The radio locks onto stations I didn't even know were available out here in the sticks! WDET (50 miles away) sounds like it's broadcasting from across the street. Everything works easily via the remote (CD player, FM station presets or scanning, EQ settings, USB, Bluetooth, Clock, Sleep settings). Also the illuminated unit settings are easily visible from 10-12 feet away. Loved it so much I played Betty Carter's CD "Look What I Got!" six times on the first night. Best $189 I've ever spent!

First, the positives: This system sounds very nice considering the price point. It was easy to set up and its footprint is small. The Negatives: I bought this bookshelf system for one feature. Specifically to be able to play music from my iPod and iPhone. The unit does neither. Nor does the bluetooth work. I set it up and plugged in my iPod. The LED display says its reading the files and then displays a message saying "No USB". I checked the connection (its connected) then tried a different device. Same result. I went to Philips website for support and downloaded the user guide. The guide states the system won't work with some devices (it doesn't specify which). A BIG negative like that should have been mentioned in the product description. Another negative in my opinion is the chintzy feel of the controls and the less than smooth opening and closing of the CD tray. My expectation is this unit won't last very long, however, given the size of the box and the hassle factor to return for a refund, I will just keep it and play CD's for as long as it lasts. Overall I would not recommend this product. If you are still set on buying one, do yourself a favor and make sure it will interface with your MP3 player & bluetooth. **UPDATE** March 31, 2023 I have made several attempts to contact Philips for support to find out why my mp3 devices don't work with USB connection. All I get are automated responses from the company saying they will respond in 24-48 hours. They never actually address my issues. In addition the CD player has begun to make intermittent, loud clicking noises when playing CD's. In light of the poor customer support and poor performance of the unit that was purchased less than 3 months ago, I would strongly recommend AGAINST purchase of this CD player.

Antena interna não é boa

Excelente calidad y sonido, ligero no ocupa mucho espacio. Super recomendable para personas que aún escuchan radio, CD's, y cuenta con bluetooth y entrada para audio. Llegó antes de lo esperando.

Excelente aparato PERO la potencia de salida es desigual para diferentes medios. Se percibe más fuerte al usar discos (incluso si son MP3) que con otros medios de entrada. Es ideal para espacios pequeños.

Fue un regalo a mis padres ya que aún tienen CD’s y me sorprendió su calidad de sonido y lo compacto que es, tanto así que espero hacerme con uno para mí.
