transformer plugged into north American delivering 220 no problem. Able to run European alliances on north American circuit. Haven't tried European powering north American yet. Been running for about two weeks not even getting very warm.

This convertor arrived today. I have moved from overseas back to the US (115V) and I have a tube headphone amplifier that was purchased in a country with 220V. I considered having the transformer changed but that was expensive and time consuming. I thought I would try this approach and I am very glad I did. This convertor works perfectly and is totally silent in operation. I could not have asked for a better more affordable solution to the problem. Highly recommended.

Bought this for an Australian market Orla sonatina L that had made its way to America. The electric organ is designed to run on 240 volt, 60 Hz. Us power is 120v, 60hz, so I was able to step up my houses power and get the organ working perfectly. Quite and not overly warm. Bought the 1000w model as it’s much more than I could ever need for the organ itself which uses a faction of that.
