Can this be adjusted to play sitting down? I play djembe while sitting on a cajon

I would imagine so. I guess I could play around with it and see but I’m sure if you let it all the way down

I can use it for a Darbuka?

Yes, assuming that your darbuka is a similar goblet shape to that of a djembe. The stand is adjustable to fit most any goblet shaped drum. I love my Meinl stand.

Can I use this stand and lower the drum to where I can play it sitting down?

Depends on the chair. If you were using something like a bar stool or something, yes. But a regular chair or drum throne, probably not. That said: It's very adjustable in many positions though, so depending on your playing style, you could easily work something out. I love this stand. It's easy to use, very adjustable and build like a rock! I couldn't find anything even close to this quality from other manufacturers. It breaks down small and doesn't take up much room in my gear box.
