Just unboxed the Wkwzy USB-C DAC and I'm happy to say that it works great. After browsing Amazon for an affordable dongle DAC to use with my 6th Gen iPad mini, I settled on the Wkwzy based on previous customer reviews and the attractive low price. This is my first portable DAC, so I have nothing to compare it to but I can say it sound great. With excellent high's, solid midrange, and punchy bass the Wkwzy DAC sounds great. Also I must point out that the Wkwzy's integrated USB-C connector was easily recognized by the iPad mini's USB-C port - no additional in-line dongle's or adapters needed! (Update August 2022) The USB-C connection was fine when I first purchased it but it now seems a bit loose. At the slightest touch of the WKWZY cable or movement of the device (iPad 6th Gen), the audio signal will be lost. I used a digital caliper to measure the thickness of the metal portion of the USB-C connector on the WKWZY DAC and compared to other USB-C cables including Apple OEM cables I’ve found it to be smaller ….but ever so slightly. It’s not like I’m constantly moving things around but it is an issue.

My Sanyo USB-C to analog headphone cable had become intermittent after two years of use. I could make the sound drop out on the left can by bending the cable, which meant a wire inside had broken. So I bought this one from WKWZY Direct. Dropout problem solved! Not only that, I think it has superior sound. The braided wire is more flexible than what was on my original adapter, so there's hope that it will last longer too, even with my rough treatment. This is a great product, especially for the price. Well made, attractive (or at least unobtrusive), great-sounding... buy it!

On Pixel 7 the microphone volume is very low. The same is true when using with Fedora 37/KDE (Kernel 6.0.15). The microphone volume is good on Pixel 5 and on Samsung Galaxy S10. The sound quality is very good for listening on all devices with no background/hissing noise. Update: Seller offered a full refund. To be fair this is not the seller's fault. I blame Google for not putting more effort into making their phones compatible with more accessories. Removing the 3.5mm headphone jack was a BAD idea! Currently I am not aware of any USB to 3.5mm adapter that works perfectly well with the Pixel 7.

I purchased this because the headphone jack in my Samsung Galaxy A50 is failing. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this has much better audio quality than the headphone jack produced in my Galaxy A50. Also works great in my Dell XPS PC... and again much better audio quality than the sound chip in the PC. The USB-C plug and the 3.5mm jack seem to be solid and of good quality. I had anti-virus software on my phone; this caused clicks and pops every 30 seconds or so. Once I turned it off the audio was perfect. I discovered the problem because others on the internet mentioned that Anti-virus software can cause this with external USB-C DACs and other USB-C sound devices on Android.
