Herb Pharm Elecampane Extract, 1 Oz (Pack of 1)

This stuff works great for deep, congested coughs. It will always be in my herbal cabinet! It does taste like you’re swallowing a bouquet of flowers, though.

I will buy this again every time I run out. I picked up a cold during Covid, in isolation so I knew it most likely wasn’t the plague, but having read about elecampine, I’d gotten this among a bunch of other supplements to use in the event of plague. It tastes SO BAD, but works SO good. There was a noticeable difference in my breathing within hours, and every time I’ve picked up a chest bug since whenever I use this is clears up super quick. It really does taste horrible though, so you will want to have a strong flavored chaser to wash away the gross taste. This goes beyond “a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down” and more into “oh my god get this taste off my tongue nownownow!!” But it’s worth it because it works, and it works fast.

Last fall, about 3 weeks before Thanksgiving, I came down with an extremely nasty case of bronchitis. By far, the worst lung issue I ever had. 4 antibiotics later, I still had the worst cough of my life. CONSTANT. PERSISTENT. Would not stop for more than a minute. Prescription cough medicine at double dose would not stop it. I could not sleep and was missing days of work. This was serious. Feeling the doctor could not help me, I searched the Internet for recommendations on natural cures. Luckily, I found Elecampane !! Ordered it overnight delivery as was not available locally. I took 3 doses per day. 1 st day I was able to sleep without being up all night coughing. 2nd day I was 90 % improved. By the end of the week I was near my normal self. Be aware that this does not work like cough medicine. Plan to stay on this herb for an extended time. I stayed on it for 5 months. Why?? Because I could feel how good my lungs felt! I went through the winter without any lung problem at all. After not taking it for the summer months and remaining healthy, I am now going back on it for this fall and winter season. I don't know of anything, drug or otherwise, that works like Elecampane!! I could not recommend this product highly enough. I believe it saved me from being hospitalized due to the severity of the lung illness I had. Put the product in coffee, juice, or just water.

Be VERY careful. First I just want to say this stuff works for breathing issues to a near miraculous degree. However, it also LOWERS your blood sugar to an insane degree as well. I had a hypoglycemic attack about an hour after taking it and just ate pizza beforehand. Did some digging and found that it does in fact lower BS if you take it right after a meal. If you're diabetic or teter on low blood sugar, do not take too much at once. That being said, this would be great for diabetic after a meal as well, as long as they know what it does.

I bought this for my 96 year old grandpa who is on a gtube. He has had issues with chest congestion upper respiratory and wheezing that keeps coming back. He’s been on antibiotics and still it seems it doesn’t clear everything up. I ordered this and received in the 9th of January. His breathing was a little heavy but all his vitals were good. (Yes I am a nurse and caregiver for my grandpa) anyway I have him this in the morning and in the evening with his water flush through the gtube. Today is the 12th and this morning no congestion, no wheezing, lung sounds are clear and his looking around and looks more alert and less sleepy. I am so happy with these drops. They were recommended by another nurse in a supporting chat group for caregivers. I’m just so grateful to have found these and see him doing better. Will keep these in my medication cabinet. I took a few drops myself lol!!! Just for prevention (: also the bottle came very fast and was wrapped and sealed in blister bubble wrapping so no leaks. Will definitely purchase again.
