Fits well, is soft and non-itchy, lightweight but warm. I often do not have to wear an insulating layer between this and my waterproof shell, as this provides plenty of warmth when actively hiking or snowshoeing. It is also exceptionally breathable, and will dry quickly. I have only machine washed on delicate and air-dried, as specified in the care instructions. The socks that came with this shirt are soft and cushy, and washed and dried just fine in a normal warm wash and medium dry cycle. I would not hesitate to continue ordering from this company, especially since a lot of the more expensive brands have been upping their synthetic content. You’re definitely getting way more wool for your buck from Merino Tech!

This is the right thickness to go under clothing and can be used as pajamas. Turn down your thermostat and save money on your electric bill. Sleep like a baby! Keeps your body constantly at the right temp naturally. This is very important for all ages (especially the older you get). That's what merino wool does. I will be wearing it under my jeans flying internationally. I use a drop of the green Miracle II to hand wash, dry flat over night. So two sets is ideal to have. Very soft. Not itchy and light weight. You get a free pair of socks which have turned out to be THE MOST COMFORTABLE SOCKS I'VE EVER HAD!!!! Highly HIGHLY recommend this product!!!!! This is a great, basic merino base layer that's perfect for my winter running in the Pacific Northwest. It doesn't make me feel obnoxiously hot even once I've racked up a couple miles (unlike my thicker or down layers, which I typically have to shed). Going by the size chart, I thought I might need to size up to a large, but Amazon recommended I go with my normal size medium, and I'm glad I did. I don't like oversized running stuff, and I hate when the shoulder and armpit seams are too large. For reference, I'm 5'9" tall, 158 pounds, athletic build, and the medium is great, with more than generous length in the arms and torso. Truthfully I would prefer a little bit less length in the torso, but I like things that hit just above my hips; after reading lots of reviews I've gathered that most women like things longer, so this longer length is likely better for most. This is what I would call a midweight layer, thin but not overly so, not something I would call ungenerous. It's exactly the right weight for the heat/insulation level advertised, and the temperatures I'm in right now (40s). I think it will also do well in the 30s. If it gets into the 20s, I think you might need to add a vest unless you're running very hard/hot. Included in the package was a pair of sweet thick wool socks. Love that unexpected bonus item! Just wish the socks were smaller; despite accompanying an order for a women's medium , the socks were large on my size 9.5 women's feet. Don't mean to be ungrateful, but dang! Matching the likely sock size range to the top size would be aces. Can't complain though, super happy with the fit and quality.

Very soft, not scratchy at all. Love the color and the slightly fitted (but not clingy) shape. Perfect for a base layer outdoors or to wear around the house on a cold winter day. I will purchase again in different colors.

I really like the warmth and fit of this shirt. I wear a thin under layer with the shirt as it's not especially soft against my skin. It's a bit on the scratchy side. It's still a keeper!

I love these shirts. I have a few long sleeve and short sleeve. They are designed nicely for everyday wear, or as an under layer. The fit is flattering. I can’t say enough about how nice this wool is for temperature regulating, and odor resistance. They’re perfect for traveling. Wool is comfortable in a wide range of temperatures. The antimicrobial properties mean you can wear the it multiple days without needing a wash. Quality does not deteriorate with washing. For reference I’m 5’7” 130# size small

I’ve lately worn a lot of merino and found it to be very comfortable. But disappointed me in this sweater is that after wearing it only three times I have pilling on my sleeve and under my arms. Apart from that, the sweater is very soft and comfortable. I’ve ordered two more and hope I’m not going to discover this in the navy one or the off-white one.

This isn't the first Merino tech sweater like this I've purchased. These are very nice, fine merino wool sweaters that don't feel itchy at all. I wear them as a base layer, or as a single (only layer) depending on the weather. They are perfect for trips as you can wear them next to your skin without odor for days reducing the number of garments you have to pack (always a good thing). Wool is natural warmth helping to keep your body's warmth constant and wool can get wet without making you feel cold. Because of all the qualities of wool garments, they function well in all situations, surprisingly even when you might think it is too warm for them. All of my sweaters of any style are merino or cashmere because the quality is high and their usefulness is, too. I love the fit of this sweater group. It shapes itself to your body without being "clingily", or check the size chart if you like a looser fit. Although I haven't needed it for these sweaters, I recommend a "sweater shaver" to remove any pilling that may occur on any sweater: it keeps sweaters looking brand new and only requires a few minutes to use. The colors so far are great, too!

Must wash before the first wear! Did great in my washing machine wool cycle (cold water/ slow spin) and air drying. Nice colors and design, can easily be worn as a warm form fitting pullover and not just a base layer.

I love it! The size is perfect and it’s super comfy. I thought that it might be itchy or something but it’s not. I’ll be walking the Camino this June and I thinks it’s perfect. It will be summer and expected to be hot but I also wanted sun protection, rain is also expected in that region so I bought this product which is perfect for hot or cold weather. I ordered two more! 😊

These are now a staple in my wardrobe. I was unwell and had trouble regulating my body temperature. These under shirts are buttery soft and the sleeves are nice and long so they sit under a jumper or shirt for extra warmth. I bought three in different colours. They wash beautifully on a wool cycle and air dry quickly. Highly recommended.
