A bit tricky on the tension and bottom bobble

ABSOLUTE RUBBISH
DO NOT BUY THIS!! This product is awful, used it for the first time today, tension is terrible even when you pain stakingly adjust the bit by bit! And to make matters worse I’m outwith my return date! Not happy!

Great for minor works Do not expect more Misses speed options
I had low expectations. I have a good machine but needed something really small for simple works when being away. I had tried and returned the version using just one thread because sewing is so easily undone that it is a waste of time. However, this one does 2 threads proper and sturdy sewing. If you have previous experience on a proper machine, starting with this one is straight forward. It will not be that easy for newbies. I received it and I was using it in few minutes (result on picture). Not for perfection and not for big workd but perfect and fast solution for small works, fixings and travelling. It works well with high power rechargeable batteries plus AC/DC powered: both tried OK. The only drawback for my expectations for this type of product is that it has one single speed which may be too much for details; it would have been great if it had at least a slower speed selector, but all in all, it makes the work for my needs.

Stitch not so quick
I recieved this little machine for Christmas and have not got it working correctly yet, but possibly I am making progress. 1. It came incorrectly threaded with a sample of material sewn with a couple of rows of perfect stiches. Well those rows were not sewn on the machine, threaded the way it was, when delivered. (it was threaded through the bobbin threading loop, as well as the other upper threading guides). Consequently the lower thread just nested. I found some videos, saw it was incorrectly threaded and rethreaded. Unfortunately, by this time I had already played with the tension adjustment, thinking this was the problem, now I have a far too loose tension on the lower thread to sort out. 2. The battery cover wont stay closed, so if you move the machine, the batteries all fall out. If this happens while stitching on handheld mode, I found that the lock button jammed on, and could not be moved, until the batteries were in once more, but as soon as they were in, the machine leaps into life and starts sewing every which way. (the instructions tell you not to do anything without returning the lock button to lock, but if it is jammed on, you have no choice). The tutorials on Youtube tell you to put painters tape over the battery cover so this issue is a known problem. It would be nice if Singer worked on solving it instead of recommending painters tape. 3. It runs faster on my adaptor than batteries. 4. It would have been nice to supply the machine with batteries or an adaptor. I got this for Christmas from someone who assumed it was ready to run, and have only just been able to find an adaptor and batteries to experiment with. I am fairly experienced with a Singer computerised machine and a babylock overlocker, so these issues would make use by a beginner quite difficult.
