In the early attempts at making a table all can fit around, they cover some pretty cool things: -- cutting a rectangle in 1/2 to make it a square -- cutting a square on the diagonal to make a parallelogram -- octagons -- ovals It was a great book, made better by the addition of these other cool shape concepts. The plot moves fast enough that it's not boring at all, and teaches math in a fun and memorable way.

This is a cute book. It introduces some geometry terms in an easy, friendly, and fun way. My kids enjoyed listening to this story. I will buy the other books in this series.
