My nearest Nikon service centre isn't as accessible as it used to be, so I looked into how I could clean my D750's camera sensor myself. Came across these cleaning swabs, and was able to clean to remove all the specks of dust. No more headaches post-processing photos in Lightroom anymore, which's fantastic!

Finalmente mi sono deciso, vincendo la paura di fare danni al sensore ! Ho preso questo kit e l'ho usato già 2 volte, con ottimi risultati. La prima volta ho usato 2 palette + liquido, passando per ciascuna due volte, in un verso e nell'altro alternando i lati della paletta, sul sensore. La seconda volta che l'ho usato, dopo un viaggio, il sensore aveva una macchia che non andava via con la "pulizia sensore" interna della macchina e nemmeno con il mantice ad aria, quindi ho usato solo 1 paletta + liquido (il liquido va distribuito bene sul bordo della paletta, 2-3 gocce sino a umettare tutto il bordo senza esagerare), due passaggi decisi (uno per lato, nei due versi) premendo bene (la paletta si dove flettere per la pressione e restare aderente al sensore, la devi muovere lentamente in un verso, velocità costante senza fermarla o tornare indietro) e il sensore è tornato pulito. Occorre mano ferma, ambiente pulito, illuminato, state discosti quanto basta per vedere ma non alitate dentro il bocchettone della macchina. Ora che ho fatto pratica, sono in grado di pulire bene il sensore in pochi minuti, un bel risultato rispetto a spendere 40-50 euro ad ogni intervento in assistenza !

I was real nervous about wet cleaning my sensor, I've dry cleaned it several times but wet cleaning is a whole other level. I was nervous about this product because it's so much cheaper than the wet cleaning solutions I've seen recommended in forums and sold by specialist shops. I had a very dirty sensor, and it really showed in some photos. The problem with a mirror less camera is the sensor is basically a dust magnet. I often travel to remote locations all over the world with multiple lenses... I used two swabs to clean my sensor. First attempt wasn't enough Iit was that filthy). No smears and no hassle. My sensor is now clean :) Tips for using this product Use a blower first to clear away any free dust. You can also use a sensor cleaning brush (but use the blower first) When using this product, remove the plastic seal from the top of the bottle. The liquid will come out slowly but it will come out. Be patient. Make sure your camera is switched on and in cleaning mode, especially if you're using a Sony mirror less! The liquid is alcohol free, which means I can travel with it :) I'm very happy with this purchase, and would recommend this product.

Jag använder Eyelead systemet tillsammans med en bra Airblower. Har funkat jättebra, Använder det ca 1ggn/månad, men sedan ca 6mån har jag haft en fläck som verkligen har suttit fast. Trodde nästan att sensorn hade blivit skadad, men på första försöket så försvann fläcken och sensorn är nu 100% ren. Så, snabb och jätteenkel att använda med skinande resultat ger toppbetyg. Med Eyelead för vanlig rengöring och denna för de tuffa fläckarna, så har jag en billig och bra lösning.
