Perfect fit for model 1 Genesis
Cable works just fine for the 1st gen Sega Genesis and is a massive improvement over RF adapters - Ignore the fools who think the cable doesn't fit because the pins "don't match"... The 5 pins you see in the end of this cable are all the console needs to output a standard composite video signal. The missing pins would be for RGB output which 99% of us just don't need, and if you're one of the people who do need RGB then you already know this.

Wanted to use my sega genisis on my roku tv, but the co ax cable did not work. Picture and sound are okay. Could not find anything locally.

Nice cable
I needed a good quality replacement cable for my Genesis and this cable did the trick. The picture quality is good and I'm happy with the results and the price. What more could you ask for?

Not a good fit.😥
We bought this cord to hook up an original model Sega Genesis, the discription said it was a perfect match..but as you can see the pins don't line up. Would like a proper cord or a refund. Thanks

Great video, poor audio. But works same made me smile.
It works! Has been years since I could play the system, was so much fun to share it with my kid now that I got a working cord. However, I give 3 stars because it leaves an awful humming sound with the audio that will not go away and overpowers the game's audio (on every game).

Absolument inutile si vous souhaitez le brancher sur une Megadrive 1 française, puisque cette dernière n'est capable que d'envoyer un signal "rgb", alors ce câble envoie un signal dit "composite". Du coup, pas d'image ni de son, que ce soit sur un écran plat comme un cathodique.
