My dentist recommended me this one and I’m blown away at the results.
I NEVER knew what the deal with electric toothbrushes were. I always thought they were just an expensive gimmick. I grew up the good old fashioned manual way of brushing my teeth and thought that was enough. I recently switched dentists and my new one did a periodontal exam (if your dentists don’t do this, folks, find another one) and after finding a lot of tartar in the pockets of my gum, one of the recommendations I had was to switch to an electric toothbrush. At first, I thought they were pulling my leg, but after talking with her a little bit, she recommended specifically the Oral B kind. She said the Phillips Sonicare is good too, but the circular motion of the Oral B mimics the tools they use at the dentistry, so I went with this one. I’m already a few uses in and I’m blown away at the results. My teeth feel remarkably CLEANER. Like, as though I was able to get down to every nook and cranny in one seamless application. The best part is that I don’t feel as inclined to apply a whole lot of pressure into the brushing, the brush itself does all the work! The only thing though is that, like shave blades, the branded brush replacements are ridiculously expensive. After doing some research, I’m seeing that there isn’t a huge difference between the off-brand cheaper replacement brushes and the official ones. Obviously, there’s some trial and error needed based off what’s out there, but I probably won’t shell out for the replacement heads. Apart from that, great product, though!

Works perfect! :-)
Short take. A strong value that cleans really well for the price. If you want a no nonsense electric brush that does the job, the Pro 1000 is easy to recommend. 🙂 Cleaning. The small round head and oscillating rotation scrub plaque off the gumline better than most manual brushes. You get a two minute timer with 30 second pacing and a basic pressure control that slows the pulsations if you push too hard. 🙂 Battery and feel. The newer units typically last about a week to ten days per charge with twice daily use. The handle is grippy and water resistant, the charger is simple, and it is compatible with most Oral-B heads except the iO series. 🙂 Noise and omissions. It is louder and buzzier than sonic brushes, there is no visible pressure ring or extra modes, and there is no travel case. Battery life is fine but not amazing if you travel a lot. 🙂 Tips. Charge it fully before the first use, let the head do the work with light pressure along the gumline, and replace the head about every three months. If your gums feel tender, try the Sensitive or Pro Gum Care head. Rinse the head, wipe the handle base dry, and stand it upright to keep things clean. 🙂 Bottom line. Best for someone who wants proven cleaning, easy heads to find, and a fair price usually in the thirty to fifty dollar range on sale. If you need quieter, longer battery life, or app features, look higher in the lineup, but for everyday brushing this is hard to beat. 🙂❤️

Reliable and great deal
This is such an affordable and great quality toothbrush. It’s the rotating head kind. Easy to find replacement heads and these toothbrushes work great for a long time. I’ve bought several now.

Good brush but short battery life
Excellent toothbrush. It cleans well and has a good solid action. The only downside is that it is slow to charge and the charge does not last long. I have had previous electric toothbrushes that would last 2 weeks or more between charges. This one only lasts about 5 or 6 days.

Crooked, Overcrowded, Yellow Teeth
Let me start this review by saying that when I was younger, much to my parent's dismay, I neglected to brush my teeth. I would brush them but not as often and as thoroughly as a child should. This was partly due to my very bad gag reflex and partly due to the fact that it felt painful (?). Anyway, I've had yellow teeth my whole life (I'm 29) because of it. I never got braces (thanks again gag reflex) but my parents tried everything to get me to have better oral hygiene and to have a more aesthetically pleasing smile. Now that I'm well into adulthood, my smile being so yellow, and also very crowded, was starting to bother me. I knew I had to give in and fix one or the other. (To be clear if you have crooked teeth don't feel like you have to change yourself just for society - after 29 years, I can say that I truly wanted to change the yellowness purely for myself). I've gotten healthier in almost all other aspects of my life. I decided to make the plunge and buy this in hopes it would help get my teeth cleaner and help reduce plaque buildup. Not just for aesthetics, but for actual oral hygiene. So, I've used it twice a day for 3 days so far and my brother commented on how "white" my teeth look yesterday evening. That felt very good to hear, not gonna lie. I think this toothbrush is amazing for the price. I love how tiny the head of the brush is. It fits into my small, overcrowded mouth perfectly. I was worried that it would take forever to brush my teeth since I wasn't doing the work, the toothbrush was. However, it takes about 2 minutes and 30 seconds or 3 minutes if you're extra thorough. It allots 30 seconds to each section of your mouth, it will do a variation in the vibration to let you know when the 30 seconds is up and to move to the next portion of your mouth. It doesn't automatically shut off after 3 minutes (that I know of) if you want to go back and do another section of your mouth, which is nice. As for the pressure sensor on the toothbrush, mine does not work. It doesn't indicate any color or anything. It just appears to be a normal electric toothbrush. I may have gotten a "bad" toothbrush since it's not working, but to be honest, I truly just wanted something that would do a deep clean and this toothbrush does that. However, all the other reviews mention the sensor working so if that's something you're looking for, I would still highly recommend this toothbrush. I think mine might just be a dud in that department. The charging took several hours to be full on the first day. I keep it on the charger to ensure that it is always fully charged. If you don't have your charger with you and you need to rely on it without it, I'm told the battery lasts up to a week. Which, is very impressive for a $50 toothbrush. Amazon says that it has Bluetooth connectivity but I do not see any indication of that on the boxes or in the manual. My parents bought me an electric toothbrush when I was little, but I was too young to appreciate it. Now that I'm older, I think this is a great option for any person of any age. I do recommend it!

Great electric brush but still need to do it gently without applying any pressure as the pressure sensor works without signaling any light or sound. Besides due to rarity of electric brush models it may come with international charger (like USA) which won't work in India. Solution- buy another oral-b vitality 100 to make it work.
