I bought this as I needed to fix a broken immobilizer, so that it would stay on my key ring. I followed the instructions precisely, and left it to set for a couple of days before I put it on the keyring. All seemed fine, but the mended bit came off after only a few days. I am sure that it will be useful for other things though...

Easy to mould and then slowly hardens. I used it update my excellent old iphone soundock. I bought a little 30-pin to lightning adaptor and attached it to the soundock, then I added two bits of sugru, one to hold the adaptor more securely in place, and the other to support the iphone in use, so that it doesn't wobble and strain the adaptor connection. The adhesion (to hard plastic) isn't total but it does the job. Pleased with the purchase and bought a multi-coloured pack as a housewarming present for a relative who doesn't like DIY! I think it will inspire him.

The business end of my MacBook cable was looking dangerously shabby. The sleeving had split and the sight of some wires was mildly intimidating. Up steps Sugru to save the day. I made a chunky (maybe could have done it more elegantly!) wrap-round out of one of the packs and the job is done.

It’s a good product but it contains no instructions. Just too much marketing bumpf and a large sheet with photos of ideas but nothing about how to use it!! How long does it take to cure or if you need to knead it or warm it first? Even the website is the same. Lots of useless info but nothing about use. It may be simple but that’s no excuse. I have since found you need to knead it for 30 seconds. I didn’t do that.

Wanted to stick my popsocket to the back of my oneplus 9pro but it's got a glass back that literally no glue would stick to. This does the job well. I'd tried it in white before as that's what I had at the time but I wanted it in black and it was easy enough to remove with a small amount of force and left no residue on the glass. Had to cut it off the popsocket though. But yeah it sticks well enough that it hasn't accidentally unstuck for the month or so I've had it on.

I bought this for a small repair job, so I was a little disappointed that you can't keep an opened pack & have to use it all at once or just have to throw the remainder away. Mind you, that's just probably my ignorance - though perhaps they could sell very small individual packs for small repairs? Anyway - it worked well for its intended original purpose, and I coincidentally broke the handle off a favourite mug on the same day so was able to superglue the three pieces together again & then use sugru to fill in the gaps on the joins & then reinforce each area. It did take 2 days to fully dry/harden on both jobs I used it for, despite not being in thick pieces or layers - so that's something to bear in mind if you use this stuff. Additionally the black sugru does colour your fingers / vinyl gloves / anything it touches, so make sure you cover your work area / hands & keep it away from your clothes. All in all it did what I needed it to do, despite being a little on the expensive side for what you get - so I feel I have to knock a star off for price & having packets that result in unnecessary waste if you're only needing a small amount.

This stuff is so versatile. Only order as much as you need as it has a shelf life. Have used it to replace broken plastic car trim, to mend car window seal, and loads of other things.

Worked really well to repair the cracks in my cars dashboard, though it does turn a dark shade of gray and doesn't remain black once it's set.
