Soft metals.
My previous review gave it five stars. However, from the second day while I was learning how to hold it playing it right-handed, I discovered the metals are so soft that holding it in a certain way would render the third valve inoperable. Just a little side pressure from the slide attachment or the bell attachment and certain of the valves would stop functioning. The valve elements alone are solid, however, the rest of the instrument is very soft, metallically speaking. Valves are very smooth, slide is very smooth - until they stop functioning. Which happened to me during reversal three times yesterday. Sorry, sending it back. Not dependable. Very nice tone though.

Pros or cons
I ordered a trombone with mouthpiece. The mouthpiece is missing.

Well laid out case. Waiting to see how well it holds up. It will take some getting used to as I have never played valve before, only slide.

cecilio is not a responsive company.
Takes a while to get used to playing as positions are not relationally same as a tenor trombone to the bell. Muscle memory should take over though and make it fine. Valves need some working to get smooth. The more you play the smoother they get. Fingering is same as a baritone/euphonium. left handed fingering seemed weird at first but quickly became easy. As for the company. Mine had a issue with the cheap sticker thing they have on the counter weight. I called the company and emailed them several times. They do not respond to either.
