B115W

Only had it for a few days now, but this thing is freaking amazing. We are having a wedding in august, and needed a way to easily play music and amplify voice to the entire yard, and projecting sound outside is difficult. This speaker is way powerful enough to give great sound everywhere, and setup is incredibly easy. I have a google nexus 5, and the bluetooth connection goes easily over 50-75 feet. I can set the BT input volume fairly high on the speaker, then control volume on my phone (when playing through BT, the volume rockers will control the volume of the bt sound). Even at low levels, i don't hear any distortion or degradation of the sound (as opposed to feeding a small analog signal to an amp where the volume is high, where your SNR goes way down and you hear lots of noise). Using BubbleUPNP on the phone, i have access to my music collection on my server in the basement, and bubble lets you create playlists, and streams the music it gets through wifi, back out through bluetooth to the speaker. It's solidly built, and not TOO heavy. And since it's all self-contained, it's very easy to move it around, you just need a power connection to it. Also, it uses a standard computer/monitor power cable, which means you can easily replace that if anything happens to it. Overall, i am incredibly impressed. I bought it at C$460, but it's way worth the new C$520 price it now sells for. a few caveats to keep in mind: 1) it'll happily pair wirelessly with another B115W, output one channel of a stereo stream and ship the other channel to the other. But it'll ONLY do that with another B115W. *AND*, it has an XLR mixed output (which means, stereo has already been mixed down to mono), but has no stereo output. This means you can't just buy 1 B115W to stream bluetooth sound to it, and buy a second, non-wireless but much cheaper B115, thinking you'll wire that one through an XLR cable. It'll work fine - they all have 2 XLR inputs - but you'll get 2x mono speakers, not stereo sound. There is also no stereo wired input on this thing. But you can feed 1 channel to it by XLR, and the other channel to another B115* through another XLR cable if you want to do that. But then, buy a much cheaper non-wireless B115. Just keep this in mind - this thing is amazing, but might not be as versatile as you think it is.

I bought a Behringer B115MP3 & one B215D to play at my Daughter's Graduation party. I'm a novice when it comes to PA systems and higher end Audio. I've had Yamaha and Denon receivers. Mesa and Pioneer speakers. High end for Best Buy type Audio. Since the advent of computer based home media, I've tried to build a great sounding, few components as possible, rockin' sound system. I have 2 M-Audio AV40's running off a Fiio E09K/E17 DAC Amp and these Behringers with a 1/4" to 1/4" TRS from the E09K to the B215D, which add enough THUMP without a sub. I live in an apartment, so it's not an issue with totally drowning out the AV40's. I can't even begin to play it that loud. They (AV40's) add lot's to the mid-range mostly. The MP3 will be very handy. It allows you to play MP3 files (doesn't work with Apple files or Rhaphsody files) on a Flashdrive and play. Like a boombox. One heck of a boombox!For the price I am very happy. I'd still be happy if I had paid maybe twice the price...as long as it doesn't crap out due to cheap parts or something. But the system sounds great and I am really happy with it. The engineers at Behringer did an excellent job on this! Great idea integrating all those previously racked components! This cuts the number of cables way, way down. It also then decreases the distortion. This thing sounds great. Great price! No problem with delivery or service. Definitely recommend! This MP3 player on there works great and is awesome if that's what you want it for. If you're just looking for powered speakers, I'd go with the B215D's. I can't think of anything bad to say about this purchase.

Increíble bafle por el precio, inicialmente compré 1 en el centro, pude probarlo y me encantó, tiene buen grave por si solo pero si le agregaría el sub. Compré el 2do por Amazon para tener un PA stereo con una mixer de la misma marca y funcionan perfecto.

Love the quality of sound use it for tailgating and family and friends gathering

I was surprised by the quality of the sound for the price of this unit! The voice is well rendered with a AKG D-5 microphone. The integrated mixer works well using a microphone and a synthesiser. The MP3 reader does the job. I prepare all the music on my computer and then put all the MP3 songs on the USB unit. You have to make sure it's MP3. I recommend this product. Je suis surpris de la qualité du son pour le prix d'un tel haut-parleur. La voix est bien rendue avec un micro AKG D-5. Le mixeur intégré me permet de bien balancer un micro et un synthétiseur. Le lecteur MP3 est bien utile aussi. Je prépare les pièces musicales sur mon ordi et puis je les transfère sur la clé USB. Il faut s'assurer que la musique soit bien en format MP3. Je recommande ce produit.
