Straight Knitting Loom

Easy to use

I've really got into loom knitting and have the circular set which is great at making hats, from the Quilted Bear. I have one rectangular loom but wanted more size choices. These are great value. All preassembled and very sturdy plastic. Blue: 30 pegs, about 2 feet long. Green: 24 pegs, about 1.5 feet long. Yellow: 18 pegs, about a foot long. Red: 12 pegs, about 8 inches long. All have stop pegs at each end. Enclosed are 2 plastic darning needles and a wool pick. Really happy with this set, I can now knit various sized knitted panels to make gifts!!

I made small pillow covers using the largest and second largest looms. The largest one was totally fine ans didn’t have any issues at all. Second largest has many loose pegs that kept falling out as I was knitting. I guess I could glue them in. Definitely a good bargain though and the pieces came out perfect.

I am a complete novice as far as loom knitting is concerned but an experienced knitter and crocheter. I really wanted to have a go at it however, so bought this set - it is reasonably priced, different sizes etc. Unfortunately, although the looms are varying sizes, the gauge of all of them is the same, and it's very, very big, so isn't at all useful for any of the yarn I already have. This size is really designed for chunky and super chunky yarns and anything smaller doesn't produce fabric that looks good. It's my fault for not thinking about gauge (distance between the pegs) but it also doesn't give this information on the product description. So if you want to make massive blankets and pouffees etc, these will be fine. If you want to make smaller and more "ordinary" stuff, they won't be. The only use I've had out of them is practising technique and I could have knocked up a peg board to do that. Oh, and some of these pegs do fall out during use, which is irritating.

Love these looms, I used the largest size to make three long sections, crocheted together to make a large blanket, really quick to do. Made an infinity scarf from the smallest size in a couple of hours. Sturdy, well made with a good size range. Highly recommend

I love these. I've already made two scarfs and I'm starting on several long stips that I can stitch together into a double blanket. I had to watch a few YouTube videos to figure things out and the best tip I found was for the threading. Take a pen to bits and use a length of wire to tread the wool through the empty pen. As you can see, it speeds things up massively and you don't get everything unraveling as it does when you are doing it by hand. 👍

Novice en tricotinage j'ai acheté cet ensemble pour me lancer et bien on ne m'arrête plus ! Les tricotins sont de bonne manufacture, les différents coloris suivant les taille sont appréciables. Il est vrai qu'on a tendance à utiliser souvent le plus grand et le plus petit mais je n'ai pas encore tout essayé. Je recommande ce set.
