Tomee Rechargeable Battery Pack for New Nintendo 3DS XL/ Nintendo 3DS XL

It worked great but it only sucked up my DS was broken. But now it's nice to have a spare battery in case something happened to the other one

Day 1: After Installing the batteries into our systems(mine and my husbands) both batteries showed a 3/4 battery percentage bar, but it was still enough to update our systems and it's apps. Day 2: After spending the night charging our systems we played Pokemon Crystal together. The charge lasted about 5-6 hours, but wouldn't give us a warning when the battery was near empty(I.E. the simple red light), instead it began flashing red suddenly(indicating that it will shut down any moment). This actually happens when the system says the battery is at 3/4 of power. Obviously, the battery does not communicate with the system properly to tell it's proper power status. But overall, I really like being able to play on my 3ds for hours at a time again when I could only play for 5 minutes without the charger cable beforehand.

Even though the battery life doesn't last as long as the original's one, it certainly works for its intended use.

Wow easy to change, worked perfect, in about 2 minutes my kid was up and playing on his game again, nicely done. Ive had it a couple months now and its keeping a perfect charge, even a bit longer than the old OEM did when it was new.

I bought this battery because it was about half the price of buying one from Nintendo, but I recommend skipping this and just spending the extra money. The battery seemed fine at first but when I actually started using the system I noticed it would disconnect EVERY TIME I closed the system. I thought maybe it was my 3DS itself because the last battery had started to bloat, so maybe it warped something? No, I confirmed with another brand new battery from Nintendo themselves that they still fit into the system just fine and don't fall out like this one does. I was able to get this battery working for awhile by shoving a piece of paper between it and the system to hold it in place, but I'd rather not have to do something like that. However on top of not fitting right this battery has an abysmal charge time, not even able to hold the charge while the system is idle overnight. Just wait the extra time and spend the extra money to get a battery from Nintendo if you need a new one.

My daughter still played with the 3DS, and this battery was a good deal and worked well to replace the failed OEM battery. By the time this one fails, I would expect we won't be using the 3ds much anymore...

Hard to determine if the battery is defective or the game player. Regardless, it didn't work.

Have had two of these batteries go through a week of several hours of use a day and everything seems to be working great. I purchased these directly from Amazon, not a third party. Most I have seen was nearly 5 hours on mid brightness and wifi on, but may have gone longer as I charged when the red warning light came on.

J'ai acheté cette batterie pour remplacer la vieille batterie d'origine de ma console 3DS qui commençait à accuser le coup après un an d'usage intensif. Le remplacement s'est fait sans problème grâce au petit tournevis fournit et je retrouve enfin l'autonomie d'origine de ma console. N'oubliez pas de mettre votre console en charge directement après le remplacement.

Claims to be a higher capacity battery than the included battery yet it drains faster...

The battery arrived quicker than we thought! It was easy to install and worked perfectly in my son's 3DS XL!
