Joico products have always been a consistent product that works with my hair. After all I've done to it, Joico has been there. From a failed attempt followed by a "horribly-gone-wrong" perm immediately gone wrong (don't ever do this-you will be lucky to have hair left, at all!), I went to a local salon and nearly in tears said "Uh, help?!" I wasn't even in my 20's yet, so I bland being young and temporarily insane to do what I'd just done. Anyway, my salon worked a miracle!!! Actually, the salon only used the product that was the miracle! Joico leave in conditioner smoothed my frizzy, unruly, over-chemically treated hair. I remember the distinct smell of sweet bananas in the leave in conditioner they used. Even though my hair would likely to be cut into a pixie-style length (I had hair that went down to my butt), I at least felt as though my hair was in good hands. After my hair was combed through using ONLY Joico products, shampooed once, a generous amount of conditioner applied (it sat for two minutes, minimal), followed by one more comb-through with the leave in conditioner, my hair was SAVED!!! I will say this: I'll never put my hair thought that again! I'll also say this: Joico products have always been consistent, great quality, easy to use and great for your hair! It's a little more expensive than store products, but it's worth every penny. Unlike most salon products, Joico doesn't push you to use a lot of product. Instead, they encourage you to wash your hair how you normally would, which I do. It rinses cleanly after just one wash (no easy task as I have extremely thick, long hair), the conditioner is light, and works better when you let it sit for a few minutes. It also glides through tie hair like a knife through butter. I will always trust joico. My hair is never left feeling greasy or weighted down. It always feels lightweight, and is never greasy. Split ends came to an end when I began using the hair dry protector hair. Just shiny, wavy, healthy and smelling wonderful straight light brown hair now. I love this stuff and so will you!!!!!

Best combo for this curly, colored red headed gal. Quality product keep color in, adding controlable body, and I dont have to wash my hair so often. Sounds crazy, but because the "do" doesnt need much hairspray, its more of a brush and go. Yeah!

I dye my hair red and I have found this product to be the best bang for my buck. Really cleans the hair without stripping color so I don’t have to get it done as often. I enjoy the scent too, it’s just smells like the good stuff.

[note: this is after two uses, every other day of washing. i will update if the results change drastically.] first of all, my hair type/issues: i had no split ends, but my hair was treated and sort of becoming coarse/dry/straw-like, especially toward the ends, and losing colour like mad with every wash. my hair does better in general when i wash only every other day or so, and hates it when i wash every day. so, here is what happened: first wash after i received it: noticeably softer, right down to the ends, *no* colour washout at all in the shower. i was still hoping for more, so waited till the second wash to write the review. however, i did remember reviews that talked about "greasy/weighed down" and i noticed none of that. second wash (earlier today): even a bit softer, though not as dramatic, but much noticeably smoother after drying. no washout. ends starting to behave like the rest of the hair, not like a made-of-straw cousin... no weigh-down, etc. seems it will probably get a little better still and then top out - and i am more than good with that. final notes: i will be interested to see what happens after my next colour re: wash out. also to note -- i have seen reviewers mention the smell. perhaps they are super sensitive to somethign particular in this, but here is my experience: if i unscrew the cap, i can smell a very very faint coconut scent, which i have never noticed while sctualy in use in the shower, and have tried to smell in my hair after use (and made my friends smell my hair after as well), and no one can even make out any stand-out scent. so i would say, in my opinion, unless you are highly sensitive to the nth degree, i think you'll barely notice a "smell."

I've used this before & love it!

I've trying to get this set for weeks now, I finally did, and I'm so pleased with it. The smell, the texture and the way in makes y hair feel. The slick but not overwhelming (greasy) conditioner makes it outstanding. Next time I'm getting the big bottles with pump!
