The ONE Smart Piano 61-Key Portable Light Keyboard, USB MIDI Electronic Keyboard Piano - Onyx Black

This is an awesome keyboard, but not for the reasons I thought when I bought it. The light up features are nice, but I actually find it easier to just watch YouTube videos on the iPad. The iPad plugs right into the keyboard and has a easy to use interface. The music stand holds the iPad perfectly!!! I would like some background track options though. Also, when the wife is sleeping I can plug headphones into the keyboard and hear both the keyboard and the iPad (YouTube videos) at the same time. Love the 61 key ed. Perfect size. Speakers are not too bad, sounds great when plugged in to my amp. The keys aren’t weighted but are higher quality. Sounds great with the sustain button on.

I've been worried that this keyboard would collect dust and go unused, but the game features have kept my kids coming back for more and it's being used every day. I'm not sure if they are actually learning how to play, to be honest. They rarely try to do lessons, but I'm getting a feel for whether they actually have an interest in learning. I have fun playing on it as well.

Perfect gift for my daughter and my granddaughter. There are programs for youngsters. There are several songs that allow a novice to play by simply pushing the lit up keys. They will have so much fun with this!

This does not help you learn piano. Rather it shows you how to hit lit up keys in order.
