Wonderful object and a very effective drink bottle. The seal is great, it chills extremely fast in the fridge, it feels good in the hand and to drink from, and I like the fact copper gives a degree of natural cleanliness. We have immediately bought a second the same, it's that good. My wife took one look and asked where hers was. Im not a free user, im delighted to have bought this and was suprised how 'cheap' it was. One of the most satisfying things I have ever bought from amazon. A really great gift, especially with the nice packaging.

Perfect just leaking

The bottle is leaking little. Under the cap gasket and in places where copper touch copper (bottle - cap) it's getting green spots much quicker. In my opinion the bottle has to be clean at least twice a week

Really good looking bottle and good quality. Makes a squeaky noise when opening and closing the lid but drinking water from this is so refreshing!

I liked the style of the bottle and was unfortunately swayed by the 4+ reviews and the higher number of positive reviews over another much cheaper product of a similar size and style. Unfortunately after washing out the bottle and filling it with cold fresh water ready for a refreshing copper infused drink later, I was faced with a battle to remove the lid now that the bottle had warmed up and the copper threads had expanded slightly. Although I am a man of 60 with failing knees, my wrists and arms are strong from using walking sticks daily and also physical labour from my job so am not weak when it comes to opening stiff jar lids for the wife, however I almost failed to open this even with a tea towel wrapped around the lid and eventually had to wrap several large elastic bands around the lid to aid in my grip as my fingers were slipping on the smooth outer copper lid. After battling for what seemed like an eternity, I managed to get the lid off and when I tried to replace the lid, the lid felt rough to screw back on and I was unable to get a good seal and the bottle leaked when laying on its side in my rucksack as it had fallen over. I thought about putting it back in the box and getting a refund, however my darling wife had taken the packaging to the recycling centre as we were going to be away for a few days and why I bought the bottle in the first place. I am an engineer and i placed some engineers blue on the inner and outer threads and spotted where the high spots were from what can only be described as poor engineering and with a bit of fine wet and dry sandpaper i was able to smooth down the raised parts that were causing the rough feeling I experienced when replacing the lid earlier. This process improved the removal and replacement action of the lid, but it still leaked slightly, so removed the silicone washer and fortunately had a silicone lid from Ikea that we use to reseal an opened tin of food and with a marker pen was able to trace the inner and outer circumstances to cut out a new primary washer and once fitted I replaced the original washer as a secondary washer on top. This solved the leaking problem and now the bottle is finally usable, but at a cost to my time and ingenuity. Ideally I would have liked a new bottle, but both the need to use the one I had now and the fact my wife had thrown away all the packaging, I felt I had to make do with what I had. If you're thinking of buying this particular style of bottle then I would strongly advise you keep the packaging for a few weeks and get a refund if you are unhappy with it later due to similar problems that I have experienced. My advice is find a cheaper better alternative and don't trust the very positive reviews on this version of the bottle as you most likely will have similar issues. If the supplier or manufacturer is reading this, then please contact me if you want to send me a new fault free bottle and a spare seal in and a prepaid means of returning your faulty one and I will be happy to update and ammend my review. I would have given zero starts if that was a choice but unfortunately it isn't.

Not keen on the screw on lid, a bit clunky and its a real shame

A bit high maintenance at the beginning washing with warm water,lemon and salt water.

This is my everyday bottle, it has changed color on the outside because of contact with my hand, which proves it works, I have to do is polish it to make it shine again
