It's a tri-fold not bi-fold as pictured.
When rolled it is a bit larger than a wallet. Not the size of a pencil case when lashed shut. You will not be getting anything longer than a multitool inside. So, no 6 inch mini channel locks without changing the form as shipped. You could fit a multitool, altoids tin, and possibly a 23mm tire tube and it will close but it will be fat. You can fit a multitool, altoids kit (fire or ifak) and thank of twine with 4 inch farro rod in the three pockets. You will only get one altoids tin in the center pocket. The outer pockets are more multitool and or folded knife sized without pushing the form. The waxing of the canvas is good. The belt is soft leather and buckle is quality. Hide and Drink makes well designed well stitched products. Was I off with my feeling of the size based on the pictures? Yes. Would I send it back? No. It is worth making use of for something if not as a mini tool kit or fire start kit it could be used as a rugged classy support kit for electronic devices. Wall plug with charging cable and power bank etc would be easy fit.

Nice tool bag for smaller tools
I like the quality and design of the item. I am utilizing this as a tool roll for miniature tools. The only minor issue is that the belt and buckle are not centered on the bag it is closer to one side than the other. Overall a quality item.
