Has anyone used this to create a negative slant (helpful for a treadmill desk)? Does it work?

The product was designed for the user to angle there keyboard to what is the most comfortable for the user. If a negative slant is preferred then yes that will work.

i have an older laptop with attached screen I need to angle my keyboard so I can type easier otherwise i peck! Will this work to accomplish that end?

I would think it would. Depending on how wide your laptop is though, you may want to order 2. These are only 6" wide which is fine for just a keyboard but with the weight of the screen on top, again you may want 2 of them. Also they have an adhesive strip to help keep them in place.

How much does each piece raise the keyboard?

If you roll over the images in the Amazon listing for this product you will see one that says the large one will raise the keyboard 1.375" (35mm) and the small one will raise it 0.875" (22mm). Hope this helps.

Confused. It says remove strips and attach to keyboard. I thought it didn’t need to adhere? I don’t want anything taped to the back of the keyboard.

It isn't stable if it is not hooked up. I have this, adhered it to my keyboard, and love it. If you don't want to stick it on, just put it under there, but it will shift around.
