My Grandmother in law had lost the keys for her mobility scooter. Called round local shops for a replacement, they all wanted £100 plus for the exact same thing and some wouldn’t sell you the ignition lock, they wanted to charge a fitting fee onto of the lock price. Took me around half an hour to replace it and saved over £100 in the process.

Straight swap for mobility scooter ignition lock
We needed a new ignition lock for my wife's mobility scooter; our local firm were asking £90 just for a call-out. This was a straighforward swap for the old lock. The only tricky bit was dismantling the housing on the scooter tiller without any instructions, but I found some helpful videos on YouTube. It's only day one, but it seems to be working fine. As a bonus we now have a spare key where we only had one before.
