One of the best 4x4 cubes you can buy, if not the best
I just received the MoYu Aosu a couple of days ago. This is now the sixth 4x4 cube I own, and with it, I'm set with 4x4s for some time. I own an original Rubik's Revenge from around 1982. I never had confidence with that cube, as it turned very stiffly and broke apart several times. I was spending more effort trying to keep the cube from coming apart than learning how to solve it. It wasnt much fun, and it has now been retired for about 35 years. I got back into 3x3s a few years ago, and I've been enjoying the modern Chinese cubes immensely, especially the MoYu Aolong v2. I've come to trust the quality of MoYu as one of the leaders in the cubing world. I decided to try my hand at 4x4s again, and I was kind of frustrated because the market for 4x4s is not as deep as that for 3x3s. Still, I was able to acquire several really good cubes, including the QiYi WuQue and the excellent YuXin Zhisheng Unicorn King, currently my favorite 4x4, although it's a bit loose and could use a little tightening. The MoYu Aosu, predictably, was well set up right out of the package. MoYu's quality is very reliable, and once again they did not disappoint. The Aosu turns smoothly on all layers and all sides. It's very consistent and predictable. I can do some corner cutting and reverse cutting with it, and it's even very forgiving of the occasional overturn. I've been able to get some good solve times with it already. It's a pleasure to turn, and I think it's already probably equal to the YuXin as my favorite 4x4. I can also say that from owning two MoYu Aolong v2s (stickered and stickerless), the Aosu feels similar to the Aolongs with the 'tight but smooth' quality MoYu is known for. The Aosu turns quietly, too, and is probably the quietest 4x4 I own along with the QIYi WuQue. The only drawback, if you can call it that, is that the colors are a bit dull on the MoYu. However, this is consistent with the MoYu 3x3s I have, which tend toward pastels rather than eye-popping, primary colors. So it is what it is. I just prefer the bright, eye-catching colors of the YuXin. MoYu has rightfully earned a solid reputation for great cubes, and the Aosu only adds to that legacy. If you only buy one 4x4, you can't do much better than the MoYu Aosu.

The best stuff is always the higher price!
The main reason why people like stickerless cubes is because they last longer than stickers that peel and wear off overtime. There are only a few 4x4x4 speed cubes out there but they are not stickerless, not like this cube. There are even less 4x4x4 stickerless speed cubes and most of them don't corner cut and the middle layers turn rough while the outer layers turn way too smooth. It is so hard to find a decent 4x4x4 speedcube without stickers. This cube tries to be different than the rest of it's competitors, Moyu uses the same core that the 3x3x3 has instead of a ball core. This design makes the cube turn smoothly on both the middle layers and the outer layers. This cube corner cuts and reverse corner cuts just like a Dayan Zhanchi. It's stickerless surface is smooth to the touch and each and every edge and corner piece is fully snapped in place, you can brush your fingernails against the corners and they wont sink in between. The colors look nice and bright, the yellow and the orange do not look the same. The cube never popped on me and it turns like butter without the use of any lube. There is really nothing bad to say about this cube everyone who owns this is would say the same as me. This high quality comes at a high price but it's worth every penny. If you are looking for a 4x4x4 speed cube but without the stickers then this is exactly what you want.

Great (but colors slightly brighter)
Just received mine. I love it. Very smooth straight out of the box. So much better than the original Rubik’s Revenge that I’ve been using. 4 ⭐️ instead of 5, because the colors were deceiving. It’s not bad. Red is red, blue is blue, etc. But it’s just not like the description. And that’s bad sales. I’ll add a photo.

Great feel; smooth action...
I was extra choosy picking out a 4x4 cube. I've witnessed some really sloppy or sticky ones on various YouTube videos, and I definitely wanted to avoid stickers. I'm satisfied with my Dayan and Cyclone Boys 3x3 and 2x2 cubes, but the reviews didn't look so great for their 4x models. And this Moyu Aosu price tag is up there vs. the competitors. Well... I gave it a shot, and am nearly entirely satisfied. For turning action and smoothness, it's a top notch cube. There's zero feel of this thing coming apart, which is particularly important because I'm trying to teach my young son how to solve it (small hands; drops cubes). If there's one complaint, it's the shade of orange used. It's a bit dark / brownish, and lacks contrast against the yellow. It's a bit problematic in low light, and otherwise just a minor quibble. Nevertheless, thirty is a chunk to spend on a cube when others are a third that price, so whether or not it's "worth it," that's ultimately up to you. But I can vouch that for your dollars spent, you're getting a top notch 4x cube.

Works well until it disintegrates
Easy and smooth turning, but fell apart after two days with normal use - not speed cubing :-(

Bright stickerless shades
Based on the photo in the listing, I thought I was purchasing the stickerless cube with the regular (darker) shades. However, the cube I received had the bright stickerless shades. This was disappointing. Since the cube I ordered was shipped and sold by Amazon.com, I thought the photo would be accurate... I was mistaken. The cube itself is excellent. It turns smooth, and corner cuts well. My previous 4x4 was a V-Cube. This cube is better in all aspects. I have no complaints with this cube (other than the bright shades).
