Hitec RCD Hitec HS-5625MG Digital High Speed Metal Gear Servo

Hitec is a good brand, however, neither one of these servos would work with my DMSM 2.4 GHz radio system, I'm sure it's something to do with the system itself and not the servos.

Made a aero tow release for my 1/3 scale ash-26. Works perfectly and reliably. Hitec makes great servos.

Perfect for my 1/10 scale rustler with 1/8th Monster truck tires. I had the 645MG for a long time but it eventually wore out. I'm hoping this servo can hold up to the job. It has nearly enough torque to hold the front tires, turn the wheel and have the rear end of the car move.

Fast enough and strong enough for my sons backyard basher, but I'd use something better on a track racer.

I bought this to upgrade the one in my Rustler and it came in perfect working condition. It is more powerful then the stock one which helps it turn faster and keeps it steadier.

SLOW!!!! This thing does not do rated speed. It's not even rated all that fast, but it gets smashed by other (cheaper) servos with similar specs. Here is a great example: HS-5625MG @ 6V = 0.14 sec/130.5 oz/in MKS DS1210 @ 6V = 0.12sec/138 oz/in While on paper these 2 should be neck and neck, in person the Hitec gets EMBARRASSED. It's slow. Really, really slow. Hopefully the Hitec at least stands up to some abuse. I have flogged the MKS listed above and it is still way way WAY faster than this crummy Hitec! UPDATE: I have taken this to 2 separate race meets. It's average at best. It has held up OK, but the performance is just barely acceptable. On switchback sections I am definitely wanting more transit speed. It seems to have enough torque for the sweepers and other sections, but overall I can't recommend this servo for racing. I am going to go another route soon. Likely with the MKS servo listed above. Unfortunately they are on backorder.

My go to servo of choice. Works fast and reliable

Used as replacement on my Everest 10 rc rock crawler, boy howdy it is noisy at a stand still. Other than the constant annoying whine when not at rest, it is stronger than stock. I already have a different brand replacement on the way. Bummed out😢
