I use it with my rPi B+, everything was well done, well wraped, no surprise, everything sold and received as sold, as described. I prefer going on sunfounder's website instead of the manual that comes with it, but I'm having so much fun with this starter kit ! Already spent almost 20h in a few days only!

This "Super Starter Kit" is everything it claims to be. It is a good way to learn basic GPIO pin control with C programming. Most the components will be useful for your projects later on. Although you can always just piece out the items as you need them, this is a nice kit that was designed for those who don't exactly know what they want or need. Many reviewers claim that the documentation was sparse and not for "beginners" or very "user friendly," but I found the opposite to be true. Along with a pocket-sized manual, the kit comes with a DVD that contains a PDF of the manual, instructions for setting up your Raspberry Pi 2, and all the code files for each project. If you do not want to use a DVD-drive, you can always go to the Sunfounder website and visit their WIKI link to download the zip file. It can be a little daunting to try and use the documents alone, luckily Sunfounder has produced instructional YouTube videos that will walk you through the initial set-up and the first 7 projects. These videos were invaluable to me when I started out and I cannot recommend these videos enough, especially if you are new to raspian and using the terminal command lines. I would also suggest you learn the basics of the VIM text editor before you begin to go through the projects.

Everything at top condition, very comprehensive tutorial regarding setting up PI and creating simple projects. Each tutorial includes brief explanation of how the electronics and the code works.

I’m not sure what runs out first. My excitement for discovering new Pi devices and applications or new devices in this kit to test out. The whole premise of Raspberry Pi is a winner. Low cost, educational while you learn and the absolute best way to learn is to see what you designed do what you programmed it to do immediately after the code compiles. If you want to learn a truly marketable skill, or want that for your children, this kit is an excellent choice for the money. The functionality of these components are only surpassed by the number of things you can do with them. I use the majority of these sorts of kits to teach children introduction to coding, robotics, hardware control. All that and variety to teach anything the children find motivating.
