I ended up with two infected pcs and lost important files because of this. The disc included infected my computers with a Trojan virus and it prevents the Microsoft defender from working correctly, although defender does tell you the name of the virus, it’s very sophisticated, It replicates itself into all drives connected to the computer and is able to persist through clean installs, which it attempts to prevent from taking place. It messes with the registry files and the system thinks drivers are not installed, so when I went to do a clean install, it was not possible. It told me I had no media drivers. I found a work around to get passed it by swapping USB ports after that message, I formatted everything and was hopefully able to get it cleaned out.

Ordered to use on my BMW e70 x5 spent days trying to figure out why it wouldn’t read car! Driver was up to date and the name of the interface said support phased out since 2012! Finally bought another cable (blue) one off Amazon plugged in changed the port id and plugged into car read it immediately! Don’t buy this cable it will not work
